BAD EXPERIENCE! Pella Window's and Doors installed our sliding door last year in a Fall. The door was priced competitively - was not the cheapest option, but was not the most expensive. We had a choice of going with a small contractor vs a bigger company. We went with Pella because of the reviews on Anglie's list and the overall size of the company hoping to get a good warranty. Shortly after the door was installed, we experience a bad winter in Boston Area. The newly installed door started leaking. We called Pella several times and were referred back and forth between customer service and installation department. In a mean time, the screen also got broken. Long story short, we had a technician visit us in a spring, and heard nothing after that. The technician tried to fix the screen by tacking a net back into the door, but is was out the next day (MY CONCLUSION IS THAT THE NET IS A BIT SHORT, HENCE SHOWING A POOR QUALITY OF THE DOOR), When I called to follow up with Pella AROUND SUMMER TIME, the company said that the door is leaking because of ice dams, a fairly standard response for an excuse over a bad installation job, in my opinion. It is worth noting that we experienced no leaks before the installation, nor experienced any leaks anywhere else in the hours. It is also important to note that the leaks appear to be from the door itself and NOT from the wall or a roof. I am not an expert it this, but I think it reasonable to conclude that the problem is the door, and not the weather. I do think it is also relevant to state that the door that was installed was MUCH shorter that the original door. When I challenged the installation team, they stated that the door is standard and our door seemed to be built to the house specks. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY IT WAS NOT DISCLOSED TO ME WHEN THE SALES PERSON TOOK THE MEASUREMENT and WHY THE MEASUREMENT WAS NEEDED!!!! I do believe that this may have caused the leak; the water would find its way if there is an opportunity for it. This summer, Pella agreed to re-seal the door and promised to do it withing a month. As we are heading to the Winder, noone from Pella responded back, and I left multiple messages with no responses. I very seldom leave negative comments, and I believe that Anglie's list provides an opportunity to prevent bad business practices and improve quality of service.

I was very pleased. They did a nice job, quickly and efficiently. The gentleman that gave the estimate was professional and worked with me to figure out how to deal with technical issues related to replacing my particular windows, and he gave me costs along the way for each solution.

It turned out great. They did a very good job and the installation was smooth and they were very experienced, very well-mannered, very clean. They were expensive. We got what we paid for. We're very happy with what we paid for. I would absolutely use them again.

I love them. They were fantastic. The girl that handled the account was terrific. Their pricing was fair.

The window has been doing just fine. I think the door on our sunroom might be a Pella and the windows also. We've had no trouble with them or whatsoever. Their quality is excellent. They were very responsive. They were very good.

We have a good relationship. We have had these windows for about 25 years and they have not caused us that much trouble. We have been very happy with the windows in terms of they keep the heat in and the cold out. I have not had any complaints about my windows. They are fairly pricey.

It was terrible service with them and I was very disappointed. Their windows were very poorly made and poorly constructed. They had to take all the windows back and redo them and bring them back again. They still weren't right. They were Pella's best windows. We have a very old Colonial house and we wanted them to match the rest of the house. The color was a red that they did for the windows and they were supposed to give us some extra touch up paint. We never did get it. They were supposed to have a matching red caulking that we were supposed to get and we never did get it. They delivered the windows and we were waiting a long time for the installers to come. We noticed that every single window sash was wrong. They finally came and took them and left the frames sitting here for another month. All the way around, it was terrible. I own a chimney repair business and I told them if they didn't get something done, I was going to get a big banner made and drive around with it on my van when I went to my jobs. Then they finally came and corrected most of the problem. The windows accomplished what they were supposed to accomplish. They don't leak and they do a good job of keeping drafts out. They about 90 percent corrected the parts that didn't fit but there were still little problems with them as far as appearance goes.

We used them (over Andersen) because they didn't give us a hard sell - they showed us their product and didn't try to denigrate products sold by other people. They generally did a good job - the mantels they installed weren't primed properly, however, and a month later are starting to show the knots underneath the paint. For 16K, I'd like to not have to call them back about something like this - but the job in general went very smoothly.

Room was very cold and after new windows the room stays warm no more coldness coming from the glass of the old windows.

I had a 3 panel sliding patio door installed at my rental home. This is the third time I have used Pella to purchase and install doors and windows both at buy rental home and primary residence. There is no question that I would recommend them and used them again. Nothing but outstanding from their sales representative, project manager and installers. Simply the best!

Everything went well. We were pleased with the product, the price, and the results. Furthermore, the installers arrived on time, were professional and courteous, and communicated well. Ultimately, the products have lived up to their name, and we're quite happy.

It was fantastic! They were highly professional, highly efficient, and did a wonderful job. Furthermore, the men arrived on time, were very nice, and were so quiet that we hardly knew they were here. What's more is that the windows are high quality and come with an excellent guarantee that is comparable to any others. We also really liked that they were very clear during the estimate and interview process and that they charged such a competitive price for the service.

They had a quality product and knowledgeable installers but the price was very high. I would possibly hire them again.

I wasn?t all that thrilled with them and I don?t like the windows. The windows were not cheap and they put them in very well and even replaced one of them that had a defect. To open them up, you cannot open them from the bottom, but you have to open them from the middle. You can?t reach over and open them, you have to get up from your chair to do so and that is an inconvenience. There is nothing wrong with the widows themselves, it just that I am not thrilled that they don?t have any hook at the bottom. I thought their pricing was on the higher side. I would not use them again only because of the windows, but there was nothing wrong with the installer.

They did a great job. They did the work while we gone. We didn't have any problems. They were quick getting the job done. They were very professional.

The very large window faces the ocean, with UV protection. They custom make all of their windows, and they look great. I would highly recommend them to other members.

The job lasted about four days which was a day less the initial estimate. The Pella work crew was courteous, punctual and cleaned up after themselves almost to a fault. We bought Designer Series double-hung windows with the cordless shades that snap in. The windows themselves are fantastic, and they do not fail to elicit compliments from visitors. It was a great experience from start to finish, and I plan to buy Pella windows again.

MY DOORS LOOK REALLY NICE. THE INSTALLATION OF THE DOORS WENT REALLY SMOOTH. THEY WERE VERY PARTICULAR ABOUT HOW THEY WERE GOING TO DO THE JOB AND THEY MADE SURE THEY WERE PERFECT FOR US.

THEY DID DO A GOOD JOB ON THE FIRST PART OF THE JOB, BUT THEY HAVEN'T COME BACK TO FINISH IT YET. WE HAVE WAITED THREE MONTHS, AND THEY WILL NOT RETURN MY PHONE CALLS. I DON'T KNOW IF I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN, BECAUSE THEY DON'T SEEM VERY DEPENDABLE.

THIS COMPANY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB WITH THE WINDOWS. WE DIDN'T HAVE TO CALL THEM BACK AT ALL AFTER THE JOB WAS FINISHED, BECAUSE THEY MADE SURE TO GET IT DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. THE PRICE WAS EXPENSIVE, DUE TO THE QUALITY OF THE WINDOWS WE BOUGHT.
