Description of Work: The company drained the septic tank and added a bacteriacidal solution. This took two trips. The first visit we were told by the specialist that because he couldn't find the entry to the tank we might be facing a serious problem as the overlying soil might be too deep. He suggested theplot plan for the tank for the next visit. The company returned in a few days. This man was obviously more experienced and knowledgeable, he was very professional. He quickly found the tank entry, did the appropriate cleaning, made some suggestions which we followed. If he showed up first the work would be rated "A". He advised that the initial individual was new. Nobody should ever suggest a serious problem with a septic tank unless there is clear evidence.....knowing what the potential dollar cost might be we had several really anxious days.

+ -1 moreI called the number listed for Southeast Septic which is who I thought I hired, but the company that came was Windriver Environmental. Both guys were nice and did the job efficiently, but it cost more than expected and I felt there were a lot of charges I didn't know about (e.g., for every 6 inches needed to dig). They also pushed the bacteria product they sell as a way to offset the cost of the digging, which in hindsight I don't know I really need.

Description of Work: Septic tank overflowing outside. Other companies I called would not come as there is a lot of snow in my backyard and the cover was not exposed. I am a senior citizen and cannot do the necessary digging. The person who came was excellent. He exposed the cover as well as the second cover which I did not know even existed. He was helpful and explained why I needed a filter. Gave me very good suggestions to keep the system operating properly. Today a different person came to install the filter. Both men were very courteous. The name of the first man who came was "Seven". I do not know the name of the man who came today. |

+ -1 moreOn a Sunday morning they identified the likely cause of my problem over the telephone and suggested that I probably needed a plumber to fix a pump. They guided me on what to check to confirm that this was the likely cause and they were right. In 20 minutes on the phone they saved me the cost of having them come out when there was nothing they could fix. I will definitely use them in the future for providing septic services.

+ -1 moredid not clean the filter!!! when they came to do the title 5 they said because the filter was not cleaned it would have backed up into the house. i called them to ask why they did not clean the filter--they said they dont bother to see if the homeowner has a filter unless they pump from that side and did not seem to care to change the way they do things! very irresponsible.

+ -1 moreIt was our first time pumping our system, and despite the access to the septic tank being troublesome to get to, the Serviceman (name escapes me) was more than understanding about the whole thing. Got the job done professionally and with a smile on his face. Also, we had called for service on a Friday and they were there Saturday morning. Couldn't ask for much more.

+ -1 moreWe were in a short sale and found out unexpectedly we were going to close, we needed the Title 5 immediately but the others we called were 2 weeks out, Eric was there in two days and had our report that day. It was a little more expensive then the others we checked out but it was worth it as time was of the essence. Eric was early and amazing, he had only dug up the parts of the yard he needed and inspected all he needed to check. He was also very helpful and explained how to remove the filter and dean it out for regular maintenance. Something everyone should do. I'm glad we went with them, it was worth it!

Description of Work: Septic system backed up in the basement on Friday night. Called Southeast Septic early Saturday morning. They were here by 11:00 and pumped tank. System was still plugged. Worker used a fish to clean out the line. He was determined to fix it and did.

+ -1 moreThe technician was a hard worker and very conscientious. The property was left clean when he left and it looked like no one had even been there. He was also very willing to answer questions since this was our first pumping. We will definitely use them again.
Description of Work: The technician had to locate our septic tank cover and dig it out since this was our first pumping. Once opened he pumped out our nearly full septic tank. The pricing for pumping and locating the tank cover was better than other pumping services that we contacted.

Found tree roots in the pipe and quickly resolved that issue. We finally had toilets again.....what a relief!!! Great service, friendly attitude and we were very satisfied!!

+ -1 moreSeptic tank was pumped out after 2 1/2 years since last visit. Easy to setup appointment with office. They were able to schedule for the day and time I wanted. Same driver showed up from the last visit. Very courteous and professional. Only complaint was that some minor landscaping damage around driveway (mulch and lawn decorations) not a big deal. We do have a difficult driveway to navigate for the size of the truck. They preformed the basic pumping, no inspections or no washing of the tank as others may do. I will continue to use them in the furture due to the cost and there being familiar with the location of the tank. They will dig down six inches to the tank cover as part of the price.
