Bad electrician on the job for 8 weeks. Discovered he was incompetent and could not finish the job. Paul came in and discovered the mess left behind. Quickly out is experienced and professional team on the job to unwind the mess, and get it right ASAP so we could open our doors for business. Paul handled everything from Electrical, HVAC, Fire Alarm, and coordinated with many other trades such as AV, IT, Susana/Steam and got the entire job done in less than half the time the time as the first electrician screwed it up. I call the "Navy Seals" of electricians...

Did a lot of online research to determine which brand generator would offer me the best protection for my home . I chose the Kohler brand after my online research and this was further supported after I did some interviews with different dealers. I chose to work with Paul Foley Electric (PFE) out of Carver MA . PFE is an authorized Kohler dealer. Paul came to my house and made a thorough presentation and walked me through the technology and how it could be installed at my house. I especially liked the fact he provided a list of references of previous work. The product I chose was the model 20 RESB which is a 20 KW whole house generator that is in a aluminum housing instead of composite plastic. The generator was going to be installed under trees and I felt that the metal option might be a better choice for me when winter ice and snow breaks tree limbs. The installation start to finish took a little over 3 days. My install was a little more complicated than most because I live in a flood plain and the fact that I wanted the generator some distance from the house. PFE contacted Dig Safe and pulled all the necessary permits, they even poured concrete pads for both the generator and the two LP gas tanks that I had to bring in. All the workmanship was of very high quality and Paul's team were professional, hard working, and respectful of my property. The trenching they had to dig went through a planting bed and a stone driveway and when they were finished it was difficult to tell that they had disturbed the area at all! The inside work on my 30 year old electrical panel was also done to perfection with the new controller and wiring looking like it had always been there. All the inspections passed first time and I was very pleased with how the whole process went.. Behind the scenes I was kept informed from PFE's office and always had my questions answered quickly and professionally. Buying a whole house generator is a sizable investment but a lot of this investment can be recouped when the property is sold, choosing a quality product and a professional installer / service company ensures you will get the best return when that time comes. I feel that I made a wise choice with PFE and Kohler and would not hesitate to recommend them to family or friends.
