C & H FIREWOOD

These two young men were professional and polite. They did an excellent job stacking the wood and delivered a true half cord of hardwood on time. I would absolutely use them again.

From the start, C & H was courteous. I had checked a few other prices and delivery possibilities, and this looked best for my location. They arrived a few hours after they said they would, but as we had planned to be home all day that day, it was not a problem. We opted to stack the firewood ourselves. The wood burns quickly and cleanly. No complaints, and we will certainly use C& H Firewood again.

Harry was extremely polite and professional on the phone and arrived on time at our house on Christmas Eve. The wood that he delivered has been great - clean burning and lots of it! Harry also agreed to stack the wood for an extra $20, which was great. We would definitely use C & H again and recommend them to all.

I called a few companies on Angie's List for firewood but they either didn't deliver to Metro Boston (West Roxbury) or did not return my phone calls. I then searched Craig's List and answered a classified ad for firewood listed in Carver, MA, a good hour's drive away. Harry Penney answered his phone right away, was most pleasant, and offered to deliver the wood to me in West Roxbury at no additional charge at my convenience. We agreed on a 1:00pm delivery the next day. Harry called me the morning of the scheduled delivery to say that the wood was all loaded and he was able to come earlier if that was convenient for me or he would arrive at the scheduled time. Earlier worked for me! While unloading the wood onto my front lawn as I asked, I remembered my husband was working late that night and would probably not be able to carry and stack the wood on our front porch for another day or two. Harry offered to do it for an extra $20 and moved the remaining wood to my backyard.
