Paul came out promptly and gave me an estimate. He was able to do the work while I was out on vacation. He called me to discuss his progress. He then came back when I got back from vacation and finished the work. He did a nice job with the quality of the work. Also, he even came back and lent me a tool to use on a different project that I was working on!!
Description of Work: Replace rotted piece of sill, framing and trim. Also re-flash area with copper flashing.

Terrific experience! Paul came out right away and provided an estimate of the time he thought it would take and gave me his hourly rate. He started work the following week and completed each task on a timely basis. Everything looked terrific! Although it took him longer than originally anticipated, he didn't really charge me much more than the original estimate; the materials costs also were much lower than I had anticipated. He also did work at home, for example, painting the wood for the room trim and windowsill. He also was able to salvage some of the old lumber I was asking him to remove; he sanded it down so it was like new and used it as the base for the lattice. Not only a very "green" solution, but saved me extra money and looks great - you would never have known this wasn't a brand new piece of wood. He even became friends with my anxious dog (who generally is not a big fan of strangers walking around the house/yard) such that I would come home from work to find my pooch lounging on the back deck while Paul went about doing his repairs!
