Description of Work: JA Davis Landscaping created an extended parking surface adjoining our existing driveway using grey drainage rock. Jared and his team arrived with their Bobcat(R), gas-powered tamper, and hand tools just moments before 2-3 yards of bulk drainage rock were delivered. The previously grassy surface was leveled and landscape fabric was applied, after which drainage rock was added in two inch "lifts" or layers which were tamped before the next layer of drainage rock was added. These guys were fast and efficient. The raised, finished parking pad held up remarkably well in rain, snow, and ice. It is remarkably solid and it is constantly in use. When finished the JA Davis team cleaned up their work area so there was not a stone out of place. Lastly, the price was the best we were quoted, and most other companies quoted higher prices, let us know the job was too small, or just never got back to us. We will hire JA Davis again.

+ -1 moreI was very impressed when Jared returned my email inquiring about the demo of my shed within 12 hours. He came the next day to look at the job and was very reasonable about the price. He also was able to repair a falling retaining rock wall I had. He arrived right on time to do the work and worked all day without even a lunch break. He did a great job on the rock wall where he also installed a drain which he recommended to help with an erosion problem I was having. He removed the shed and all its contents and smoothed the land beneath it. He was very professional and polite.
Description of Work: Jared and his co-worker demolished and removed a large shed I had in my yard.

+ -1 moreThe person who typically plows our driveway and shovels our walkway failed to show up on two occasions when we had 12+ inches of snow. After the second time I contacted JA Davis and they came over within 15 minutes! They did a great job and really nice about coming over at such late notice. I would highly recommend them.

+ 2 moreProvided Bobcat services to remove topsoil and level the area, then added landscape fabric with 18" overlap, then added landscape base material in two inch lifts for a total of 8 inches of base material with tamping between each application of base material. Then three additional two inch lifts of 3/4" stone were applied with tampng after leveling of each application of material. The final product is stable, level, good looking, and helps us with winter snow management in our driveway.
Description of Work: Installed a parking area for our F-150 pickup truck, freeing space in our driveway for snow management this winter.
