Everything went as planned and as discussed. Jamie Cox and his team were very friendly and very hard working! The house looks amazing and it was not an easy job- it hadn't been painted in years and needed a lot of scraping off old pealing paint. I am very pleased with the work!

It went amazingly well. Below are my reasons for providing an A review. - Their online calendar for scheduling an estimate worked really well, significantly better than all of the other painting services I contacted through Angie's List (think countless unreturned voicemails). I have no idea why every painting service doesn't utilize this feature. - The owner, Jamie Cox, is truly good at his job. You can tell right away that he is an honest, dependable person. The peace of mind I had knowing that I was hiring someone of such high character was priceless to me for an investment of this magnitude. Jamie made me feel comfortable with the process every step of the way by going over the details of the job, taking time to answer all of my questions, returning my calls in a timely manner, and not pressuring me with sales tactics. He even met with me one last time after the job was complete to go over everything, to look for any areas that might need touching up (there weren't) and show me pictures of all the carpentry work performed. - I am extremely pleased with the quality of the work performed and with the thoroughness of the cleanup. I felt that the crew really treated my property with respect. Last, I wanted to clarify that I gave a B for pricing only because I did receive one quote that was lower. I am confident, however, that Jamie's conscientious approach and the quality of the work performed more than made up for this difference.

Job was done on time and no extra charges were incurred. Painters were professional and neat. Some of the crew were here 9 years ago. I highly recommend speaking to Jamie Cox and letting him give you an estimate on your next paint job.

It took one reminder call, but his team showed up the next week. They hand scraped the work areas and power washed the fence. They did a complete and precise job of this. A few days later it was time for painting, which they did completely and well. Each day, Jamie would swing by to inspect the work and make sure that we were informed and satisfied.. The only problem came when a window got cracked. Jamie made sure that it was replaced as soon as possible. (He had ordered two panes, just in case, so he left the second pane behind.) I would say that he is driven to make sure that everything is to your satisfaction, but isn't that what you want?

About $6500. They hand painted rather than spraying which was good. They clean the surface well. They were detailed oriented. We had the house painted 5 years ago and and there were places that they just completely missed. The color was fading in spots and not fading in spot so we had the whole thing done and they did a good job of doing it by hand and making sure they got everything. They did the trim wall too which hadn't been done by the first painters who we didn't get from Angie's List.

He bends over backwards. He does extra work at no work. His work is great. He sends 3-4 people at a time. I have used him many times in the past.

I have been using Protect for over 15 years. They provide a great price and an excellent service. The team of painters is professional and courteous and they do a fantastic job. Jamie is a pleasure to deal with, upfront, open and has a lot of integrity. There has never been a job where I was not 100% satisfied, because Jamie reviews the job as if it where his own home. Other than the new look, you would never know they where there, as they never leave a mess. If you want painting done in the area, no need to worry about who to choose, choose Protect.

Jaime and his crew were excellent. They were not cheap, but we wanted to make sure that everything got painted to the highest quality. I don't think the price was unreasonable in that they took extra care to make sure everything was taped up as to not have any spatters. The last 2 times we had it painted, inside and out, several years ago, we were not happy with the result. I would suggest hiring Protect Painters if you want a good job. Jaime is the contractor, but he was there every day for at least a little time to make sure that the crew did a good job. Everything was very professional. We also had an issue that we hired them in June, but we wanted them to paint in August because that was when I was able to work from home. Jamie came through with the dates that fit our plan. Jaime sincerely wanted to make sure that we were happy with the job. Highly recommended!

Jamie was very responsive in providing estimate, and checked in every day that the work was being done. Adam and crew did a nice job, and cleaned up nicely at the end of each day. Very professional.

The service went well. They found a way to repair the porch instead of having me replace the deck entirely. The technicians who did the service did a good job in a timely fashion. Scheduling was not an issue and they always showed on time.

Jaime came to my house with a detailed Proposal. He and his employees were very professional and did a great job. Their price was very reasonable. I highly recommend them and will use them in the future

Jamie was very prompt, professional and courteous. He made sure he detailed out exactly what needed paint and what did not and confirmed with me to be certain he understood the job. He was also easy to talk with and very personable, which made the experience that much better. I had asked at the time of the estimate the timing and he explained that they were working to get all the exterior work done (since it was October) before the weather turned. This is what I had expected anyways, but we were in a time crunch since my baby was about to be born and this was the older sibling's room which we were trying to get done sooner rather than later. When I returned Jamie's call a week later, I asked again about timing and he was so great about trying to get the job done before Thanksgiving! Our general contractor had just found someone else who could start the work sooner though. So we ended up going with them only due to timing. Jamie still told us that if something fell through he would try to get in and get it done for us. I was really overwhelmed by the great customer service he provided. It is something I rarely see these days and would not hesitate to use Protect Painters in Canton later on for some other work we will certainly need done. Thanks so much Jamie!

I had received several estimates from other painters when I called Jamie Cox of Protect Painters. Jamie came to our house when scheduled, and we walked around the house and discussed what neded to be done. I was concerned because we had several window casings on the North side of the house that were rotting out. Jamie was very thorough and knowlegeable in his discussion of the problem and solution he proposed. One painter who looked at the house said we had bug infestation, (we did not have an infestation) which was pretty disheartening to hear. Another painter said we had rotted wood because the builder did not caulk or backprime, and he would replace the wood with wood that was backprimed. Jamie said our problem was not uncommon, caused by wood not being backprimed, and he would replace all of the rotted wood on the exterior with a plastic composite that would never rot. I felt very comfortable with Jamie, he came across as an honest, sincere, knowledgeable and down to earth person. His price was a few hundred higher than the next highest estimate, but I learned a long time ago you get what you pay for. Jamie's carpenters showed up first and did an outstanding job of replacing all of our rotted window casings, about 10 windows and our slider. it looked great. Then the painters showed up and did over 4 days what I thought was another outstanding job. Everyone, Jamie and his entire crew were polite, friendly and professional. Jamie and I talked every day during the project, and when it was done we walked around the house and Jamie made sure I was 100% satisfied before we settled up. I would recommend Protect Painters and Jamie Cox in a heartbeat. I was pretty worried about the wood damage we had, and Jamie put my mind at ease as we discussed the issue, what his crew would do, and then afterwards, how good they fixed the problem.

The guy that came out was very good but their bid was pretty high. They did a nice job. They showed up the next day, we were happy with that and they were very organized.

From start to finish it could not have gone better. John came to the house to give us the estimate. He was very professional, personable and attentive. He spoke to us about our needs and desires then walked around the outside of the house looking closely at everything. He then came back inside and sat down with us, explained what he wanted to do, what materials he would use and why. He answered all of our questions thoroughly before he left. The job started with power washing and then proceeded on to sanding and scraping. The residue was meticulously cleaned up each day. Once the painting started the 'crew boss' checked in frequently to make sure we were satisfied. John checked in frequently as well and would not except any money for the job until the job was completed to everyone's satisfaction. We can't say enough good things about John and his company. We would and have referred him to other family members and friends.

It was a pretty horrible experience. They were not very honest about their quote for price and there was an argument about it as we were paying but we have paid obviously. And they were a bit unprofessional I guess, I would never want to publish what they did but I think they were unprofessional.

They did a great job. They were very hard workers and got the job done is 2 days. The prep and repair work were well done. All of the painting and staining looks great.

Protect Painters was great to work with from start to finish.Jamie was on time for the estimate and was done in 20 minutes.When the weather finally allowed Jamie and crew got right to work.Some minor replacement of trim was necessary and was reasonably priced. Communication was great throughout the process.The crew was very polite and professional and did a good job of cleaning up. The house looks great. I would highly recommend and would use them again.

Contacted Protect Painters through there 800 number and they set up an estimate appointment the following week with there local rep, Jamie Cox. He showed up on time as scheduled and spent a good hour looking at the house and writing up the estimate. The price was very competitive to two other quotes I had gotten, but the fact that he pointed out the details of what needed to be done and took the time to explain what the job entailed, made choosing them over the other 2 companies(basically who walked around the house once, wrote up an estimate and left in 10 minutes) very easy. Jamie told me they were scheduling for late May, but would depend on the weather and completion of current jobs scheduled before mine. Unfortunately, the weather was not cooperative and with so much rain, they were not able to start until the 2nd week of June. They came out and pressure washed the house first, removing loose paint. Then a crew of 10 showed up a week later after the rain had stopped. They worked for four days and did a really amazing job. The job came in a bit over there quote due to cost of Azek and additional carpentry needed, but was very fairly priced, and worth every penny! They cleaned up, and left the house immaculate, maybe even cleaner than they had found it, and were very careful with the extensive and delicate landscaping. I would use agin in a heartbeat!
