Team was efficient and courteous. A bit rushed but it all worked out.

They did a great job for me. They provided any size boxes, and wrap paper, I needed for free. I didn't know living so far away would take away from certain benefits. They damaged a wall taking out a piece of furniture. They told me after I reported it that they would totally pay for the repair. I thought that was admirable.

They were terrific ! Really great to work with from the office to the actual move. Nice people, very cautious, efficient - just a super experience. Would highly recommend.

Originally my closing was scheduled for Friday Feb 3rd, so my whole household was moved the Thurs night before and planned to be kept on the truck one night to be moved into my new home the next day. Unfortunately because of the bank for the people who were purchasing my old house, the closing was delayed and didn't take place until one week later. Marathon, especially Kathy Keane was so kind and patient during a very stressful time. Having all my stuff on a truck for a week is no fun, but Marathon was great and was always available by phone patiently dealing with all the schedule changes. Also took great care with the moving process itself; nothing broken or damaged. :-)

The movers were very professional and very, very careful with our things. Of all the moving companies I've hired over the years, they were the best. Totally, 100% recommended!

All went very smoothly and from Lucas coming over to do assessment and giving quote, to reminder calls from the office leading up to the move and then the move itself was fabulous with a great 3 man team. They were professional, friendly and extremely hard working.

Great! From the initial quote process (super fast) to the final checkout of the move, everything was excellent. I would hire the team again. And, I have referred them to several people. The quality of the move was top notch.

It went very well. The schedulers were very friendly and easy to work with. The movers were punctual, professional and worked quickly. I needed to adjust when the move would happen and the company was very accomodating.

They are a delight, My move had to be put off twice and they worked with me to help me get the move when I absolutely need it. The crew showed up on time, worked quickly and professionally. I don't think it could really go any better. I wouldn't hesitate to hire these folks and I will recommend them to my closest friends. My highest recommendation.

I was very satisfied with the service provided. Marathon came out to my home prior to the move to inventory all my items and to give me an accurate estimate. They kept in touch with me prior to the move and answered all my questions. The movers were very thorough the day of the move and kept track of everything. Upon arrival, they were very efficient at unloading. Overall, they did an excellent job and I would use their services again.

Overall, I was very happy with Marathon Moving. They were very responsive when I reached out to them to get a quote and it was easy to schedule the date I wanted. On the day of the move, the crew was very professional and worked tirelessly to load up the truck. I sent them a list of how much stuff I needed moved and I underestimated the how much space it would take. So the truck they brought was too small. But the crew called for another truck, which arrived quite quickly and they were able to load up everything by noon. Unloading went great, they put everything where we wanted and by the end of the day we were in our new house.

This moving company was exceptional. The move went off without a hitch. They held to a high level of professionalism and quality. The team worked quickly and with care for all items.

The service was truly outstanding - done on time, packing very good incl. antiques, china, crystal. Two people at Marathon made it possible. Kathy Keene who co-ordinated every detail of the move for us and Brady Brown, the driver. Kathy assured us she would take care of everything and she DID. Brady promised to get the truck loaded in time for me to catch a flight. He worked 24 hours non-stop - yes, all through the night on a day/night when temperatures in the Boston area were in the low teens - loading the truck - a full 45 foot trailer was filled to capacity. They dealt with an icy driveway - yes, it snowed - cold wind without complaints. Kathy followed up on the day of packing and again on the day of loading to make sure everything was going ok. Was very comforting since I was handling the move by myself since my wife had already moved to Houston to be with our kid - so was nice to have the extra support. And Brady - wow. Can't say enough good things about his commitment. He assured me he would get the job done by a certain time and even though it took him many more hours - in large part due to the very cold, wet weather - but he did what he had to do to get the job done. Completed loading around 700 am, paperwork done an hour later and I caught my flight well in time. Will definitely use them again.

could not have been better. I was nervous about having my mother's stove moved & from office staff to the actual movers, they were reassuring and efficient. they were in contact with me every step of the way.

They did an amazing job! I would definitely recommend this company and would work with them again. They were always friendly and helpful from every time I called them on the phone, to coming out to our house and giving us an estimate, to the actual movers. At the last minute our closing date got moved back and I had to ask them to change our move-in date. They did this with no problems or ridiculous additional cost. The guys that did the move were extremely professional and took very good care of all of our belongings. They were very honest when they did the final bill (example - they thought it was going to be a 2 hour drive but it was really 1.75 and they only charged us for the exact time they worked). Moving houses was such a stressful experience but Marathon completely took the stress out of the actual move.

Crew was great from start to finish. Dennis was lead and rest of crew was very courteous and helpful in every way. Moved existing furniture for us too. No damage to anything. Very efficient, came in under the estimate. Delivered boxes in advance as promised. Everything was professional from start to finish. Highly recommend. Price very fair.

These guys are top-notch. The estimate was prompt, communication at all times was great, and the crew was professional and friendly during an incredibly stressful time. They worked quickly and efficiently, taking great care with our stuff. We had an very complicated move, and they were completely unphased by it. We had two trucks, one for the storage unit, one for our temp apartment and pretty much everything went in the right truck. They moved the bulk of the stuff into the storage unit with one truck, then moved the rest into a very tight upstairs apartment with tiny twisting stairwells, and were creative and professional about getting our stuff in there. They disassembled our very special and precious grand piano and stored it in their temperature-controlled instrument storage. We were contemplating using a special piano mover for this but ended up using them and they were fantastic. Six months later we used them again (with some of the same guys on the crew, even) to retrieve and reassemble our beloved piano, and move us again with two trucks. One went to the storage unit, the other removed our belongings from the twisty-turney tiny apartment, and reunited everything at our new house. We paid a lot for the big guns but do not regret it for a moment. Having their calm, strong, and professional presence around made a huge difference for our family during a complicated time. Very efficient, good guys, took good care of our belongings

This company is fantastic! They were easy to work with from the get-go. It was easy to schedule a convenient time to meet with someone to get a sense of the services Marathon provided and to get a quote for our anticipated move. The person we met with answered all of our questions (e.g. what if we get an initial quote today assuming Marathon will be packing all of our stuff, but then we end up packing a significant amount ourselves?) and provided a clear explanation of the moving process. The quote we got was significantly less than what other well respected moving companies were charging, so I was a little nervous, but when it came to moving day the crew was punctual, courteous, and professional. They did a great job packing everything, including fine china and artwork, and nothing broke!. The company also provided excellent services, like delivering moving supplies (boxes, paper, tape, etc) to our front door so we could do some of the packing ourselves to cut down on expenses. They also came after we unpacked to pick up boxes and packing paper. I should also mention, when they came to pick up the boxes and paper the moving truck got stuck on a low hanging phone line attached to our house (the snow this winter caused it to sag), and they unfortunately snapped the cord. Most companies would drive away and pretend nothing happened. Instead, Marathon called me at work and explained the situation and apologized profusely stating they would cover the cost of the repair. They were true to their word. We sent them the repair bill and we were reimbursed in no time. Moving is stressful, and I hope I don't need to do it again anytime soon, but if I did, I would definitely call Marathon Moving!

I was very pleased with the move. The movers were extremely efficient. All items that needed to go to each of the two locations got to the proper place. The moving crew wrapped all my furniture and lamps and handled things very carefully, even in some very tight spaces. I received a quote prior to the move that came in very close to the actual cost. Overall, a very good experience.

Marathon was punctual, professional, arrived on time and worked quickly. On the other hand, pricec quoted by the company was about $1500.00 but ended up charging $2000.00. A couple items were missing on arrival, not expensive or important things, but still. A fishing rod was broken during the move. TO UPDATE: SPOKE TO THE COMPANY. THEY SAID DRIVER DID NOT INFORM THEM OF ANY ISSUES WITH THE MOVE. THEY IMMEDIATELY MADE ADJUSTMENTS FOR LOST AND DAMAGED ITEMS.

The move from Canton to storage went very well, the crew showed up on time, they were professional, neat and caring of our possessions. However, they were about two hours late showing up at our new home and without enough crew to do the job (two trucks and three men). Also, they forgot to bring a piano that was in storage. A fourth crew member showed up several hours later with the piano. Our clothes dryer was badly damaged as apparently someone stepped on it crushing the top, caving in the side and cracking the front control panel. Further, a table saw was apparently dropped somewhere along the line as two brackets were bent, two tool hangers were broken off and the leveling legs were broken. Our advice - if you use these folks buy the optional insurance.
