The assumption was that they would provide what they should have when the second move was made in the future (partial move until sale of house). Also they did NOT put the bed together properly (it has moving parts that do not now function.

Description of Work: The crew did a fantastic job. They were right on time, constant communication, unbelievable care with every piece of furniture they moved. The crew, Christie, Andre, and Liam were exceptional they worked well together and all of our furnishings arrived at our new house in perfect condition! Would use Marathon movers again and would highly recommend them to family and friends.

Description of Work: Packed and moved my in-law's household including a baby grand piano. Move when very well and the service and responsiveness was refreshingly great.

Description of Work: I moved out of one condo that was in an elevator building to a townhouse with stairs. Rained the day I moved out and they were very careful to protect my belongings from getting wet. They were prompt, courteous and they worked fast. Totally exceeded my expectations. Very pleased.

Description of Work: Movers were great. Very careful with property and helpful. My concern is with billing. They added fuel costs which were not discussed when I hired them. I would have liked more disclosure about all costs at the time of engaging them.

Description of Work: Used Marathon for my move and glad I did. They were punctual, professional and courteous. They took great care with all the furniture, carefully wrapping glass and securing loose parts. There was some minor damage to one piece that if they hadn't immediately pointed out I might have missed. But they not only promptly notified me but arranged a top notch repair within a week. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: The team worked efficiently as a cohesive unit, were very careful with our belongings, courteous, and truly cared about exceeding our expectations. They did everything in a manner than ensured that the job was done as quickly as possible, saving me the expense of more hours of service. For example, carrying more than one box at a time. I moved from a 3 story walk-up apartment, and their legs must have been burning, but they kept smiling. I would definitely use Marathon again.
