Lux Renovations is such a great company. We had a consultation and the sales guy was able to answer any of our questions and address all of our concerns. They were able to design our basement just as I had envisioned it. The remodel was quick and painless, and the project manager was always available to answer our questions during the remodel. The materials used are great and I am not worried about molding in our basement because of that. We also enjoy that you can take the walls apart as we hid an unsightly oil tank behind one of the walls and we will be able to access it one day when it needs replacement. Our basement is now our favorite place to hang out in the house. I would and have recommended Lux Renovations to all my friends and family in need of a basement remodel!

The workers were great...showed up on time and cleaned up each night before they left. The basement is so much brighter.

They remodeled our basement. They kept everything very clean. I was impressed with their timeliness and service.

After taking a few measurements we were shown samples of the materials that are available and our choices. It was explained in detail about how the materials breathe in a basement environment to allow for the occasional condensation that comes from having a cement foundation for walls. The professional way in which the design was handled was most impressive. We were shown multiple options for our basement and my input and ideas were gladly taken into consideration. Peter was the consummate professional while providing us with our options and responsibilities for the project.

Background: We decided to finish about 1/2 of our basement for a home gym/home office area, as one big C shaped room.We went with Lux because of the materials and also liked the idea of a company that focuses on exactly the sort of work we were looking to have done. We are very pleased with how our project came out. We were told about 2.5 weeks, and they hit that exactly, starting work on Monday morning, and getting the flooring, the last chunk of work, done the 3rd Tuesday and our final walk through that night. Everything went nice and smooth from planning to permitting and inspections, and our project manager and installer checked in with us frequently to make sure we were pleased with how things were looking at every step. There are a couple VERY minor touch ups to be done now that the paint is dry and we're in the space, and our project manager was happy to send the installer back for a day to go through any punch-list items we've found. All of the installers, as well as the electrical and flooring contractors were friendly and courteous, and since our basement is a walk out mostly came and went as needed without much disruption of our day-to-day lives. If we ever decide to expand to 3/4's or the whole basement, we'll 100% be calling Lux back up for another round of work!

It’s done very good and in time. But feels little costly but super.

We have two neighbors who recently spent months and months having their basements finished, with lots of disruption and delays . . . and frustration. Lux Renovations (with the Owens Corning System) came in and finished the whole project in three weeks! And, it would have been even faster if our town's inspectors were more responsive. Even better, the basement looks and feels great, with no worrying about mold or mildew. Finally, everyone from their sales rep, to the project manager, to the carpenters and electricians were very informative, helpful, and friendly. A pleasant experience all around!

The project manager and installation crew were very responsive. The work was done in a timely manner and all were a pleasure to work with. I never thought our basement could be done over to look so nice. It gave us much more living space to enjoy our grandkids in!

The project was completed in 7 business days. Workers were clean and respectful. We get rave reviews from everyone who sees the finished basement.

The constructors from Owen Corning Basement Finishing System did a great job. They worked and finished my basement in couples weeks. It looks great and my family loves our basement. The fabric materials of wall panels are unique and look big different from the drywall. I feel my basement warm and cozy. Owen Corning helped my family discover a healthy and comfortable living space.

We are very pleased with the quality of work and customer service. Lux Renovations completed the project on-time and was always professional, responsive, and friendly. We would highly recommend Lux Renovations for remodeling a basement, as our overall experience has been excellent.

01/05/2018:Although my basement is not yet completed, the overall experience with Lux Renovations and their employees to date has been very professional and thorough. I can't wait to see the finished product which I'm certain will be great and finished on time! 09/07/2018: All around great experience due to the professionalism of all involved. Started earlier than expected and finished in 2 weeks.

We selected the Corning Basement Finishing System because of the materials and on the promise of a quick install. When it was all said and done the Corning system and Lux Renovations fulfilled all that was promised. Throughout the process, from sales, planning, and construction, the Lux team was professional, courteous, and responsive. Customer service was great as we changed the funding mechanism and they handled it in stride. They maintained communication with us regarding scheduling and most importantly when the work started it was completed within the promised time frame. The installers were diligent, respectful, and hard working They installed a TV mount for us, including reinforcing the wall for the hanging. Like all projects there were some unexpected issues but they were all handled well. We had special electrical needs which they easily accommodated. We are extremely happy with the quality of the materials and the work. Well done Lux Renovations.

Very unprofessional. Canceled appt for 7pm at 6:50pm. Manager then called and spent 5 minutes making excuses, talking about how much money they pay HomeAdvisor and acting like his calling was a big favor.

Lux did a great job with our basement. The finished project looks great, the cost came in right at the quote, and the construction only took 3 weeks for 1000 sqr feet.

We hired Lux a to do our basement. They started almost 2 weeks before the projected start date and are on target to finish on time. everyone we have worked with and met from Lux has been very friendly, helpful, and professional. Their work looks awesome so far and we are looking forward to seeing the finished product very soon!

Lux Renovations was chosen to finish over half of my Basement to make it a place that we could entertain and spend quality time in. I was impressed with the Promptness, the Professionalism and the Quality of a Project that took about 3 weeks to complete, but that was amazing. We would recommend Lux Renovations to anyone that wants a great job at a fair price. Tim Walsh was the Contractor that did the work and I would hire him to do future work for me. They handled all the Permitting, the General Contracting work, the Electrical work and it was done to Local and State Codes. They know the Rules and they do not take any shortcuts. What they did in 3 week (5 days a week); would have taken a Summer of multiple contractors and long periods of disruption to accomplish and it would have been a stressful project. This was easy from start to finish. The salesman was honest and didn’t pressure us. The materials they use were well explained and all made sense for what you would want for a basement remodel which is unlike a regular room. The installers were professional. They worked tirelessly on our basement in the middle of a Maine winter, blizzards and all and did so without as much as a complaint. I can’t say enough about the installers, they truly are craftsmen. The basement is better than what I was picturing and we are so grateful we found Lux. All in all, a great company to work with and money well spent. Every penny is worth the quality and peace of mind we have with our basement.
