They are responsive and on schedule.

Everything looks great. It was completed in just under 3 weeks and well ahead of the original work date expected. The installer - Alec - did a fantastic job. I would recommend this business.

Everything was good except for the salesman needs to not talk politics and opinions with the customers. Edwin, I think is his name, was very good. Had no problems with the actual install, but the company needs to reel in the salesman. The only reason we went with Lux is because of the Owens Corning product not because of the salesman. I gave a 4 star rating due to the bad salesman.

Such an amazing company to work with, no disappointments! Our basement looks absolutely amazing! That in itself is an understatement.

It has been a few years since our installation and the panels still look brand new. The added insulation to our basement helps with the temperature and reduces outside noise. We've had some water in our basement twice since the installation and we panels did not stain and we did not get any mold. The Owens corning system is superior to drywall because of all of the above, but also because it gives you full access to all wires and pipes. If you ever have a leaky pipe, need to add an outlet for your TV or internet, just remove the panel.

We used Lux to install an Owens-Corning system in an unfinished basement. The project turned out beautifully and is very custom to our space- half carpeted, half flooring. Dan was very communicative and quickly took care of some finishing details that are the icing on the cake. It's amazing to be able to reclaim previously unused space and turn it into a heated, well-used room! While we aren't fans of Owens-Corning sales tactics, we went into it knowing what to expect and were able to get the price down to the ballpark that we were expecting, with a return on investment that is 100% worth it.

We were very happy with the communication, efficiency, and quality of work. Out basement looks great and we are grateful for the peace of mind knowing that everything is waterproof in case of another flood in our basement.

I'm sooo glad to hire Owens doing my basement! From the very beginning, their staff have been very professional and friendly, and know their job very well! The working period is also enjoyable. They come and go without disturbing us, and they finish my basement (>700sqft) in less than 3 weeks! We are totally amazed! The basement is nice, clean, warm and modern.

Extremely easy to work with. The craftsman ship is wonderful. They came in the worst of Maine weather and worked all day. Great crew. I would use them again in a second. Itâ s nice too that everything is thought of and done for you as far as permits and electricians go!

1) The project started and was completed on time. The project started at the time they told us. We wanted them to start earlier, but they did not overpromise - kept the date they told us and started at the promised date. They planned time for the basement to be completed was in 4 weeks. They completed it in 3.5 weeks. 2) Great project management. Dan, the project manager kept us well informed. He coordinated with all the contractors and town inspectors very well. People showed up on time. We only experienced only one day of delay. At some point, a small mistake was discovered. Dan was very reasonable and creative about how to solve it. 3) Pricing. We checked with other companies before hiring Lux. The initial impression we got from Lux given their level of communication and sales presentation, my wife and I were expecting a shocking price. It wasnâ t. Lux's pricing was comparable to other vendors. Finally - the whole project was completed with NO DRAMA. We will hire Lux again in a heartbeat.

We hired this company to finish our basement about three years ago, adding about 1400 square feet in total, with an exercise corner, a large play room and a home theater. The contractor this company used/hired was very capable, accommodating, and kind. The job was nicely done -- in the past three years there were no problems at all and everything looks as new now and no issues of mold or rotting. The price is not cheap, but they are very professional and everything is on schedule. The contractor went out of his way to help me set up additional parts of my home theater, building an in-wall AV equipment shelf, and installing an on-wall bar cabinet with minimal or no additional cost. Also helped to add more sound insulation materials at my request to the walls of the home theater. The basement is now an enjoyable place to stay.
