John Dolan Flooring Kitchen & Bath

All of the workers were very courteous. The workmanship was excellent and they always left the areas clean.

Came on date promised, 5/5/14, demo, back on Monday to update wiring, plumbing, heating, toekick heater. Inspector approved all services, the walls, plastering, cabinets, hang, heating in floor, tile laid. Lighting hung, tile grouted.

From obtaining the estimate through trouble shooting and resolving an unexpected problem because of a structural issue in our kitchen the entire John Dolan team to include the vendor we obtained the counter top from were pleasant, entirely professional and competent. It was a positive experience from start to finish.

They're great, reasonably priced and I would recommend them to everybody. They really keep the job clean and finish the work at the end of the day, they really make sure that they clean up at the end of each work day.

This company is the best. They are not inexpensive, but the are very professional and take care of their customers. If I needed to have them do anything else out our house, I could call them without hesitation.

John Dolan was very paeient and made several visits until we were satisfied with a design. His crew arrived on time and were very meticulous about protecting and cleaning up after each day of work. The total rehab was completed within the stated timeline and we are extremely satisfied with the final results. Ceilings and wood flooring had to be matched to existing, and his craftsmen were able to do a remarkable job in that area.

It was an excellent experience. The Dolan family is a team of professionals. Caroline guided us through the design phase effortlessly and with creativity. She listened to what we wanted and made spot on recommendations. She was very graceful letting us know if we were making a decision that we might not be happy with. All the choices of tile, cabinets, handles, etc in their design room were excellent. Great quality. John and his nice crew worked fast and with the highest of quality output. The showed up on time every day. Nothing was left undone at the end of the job. John made excellent suggestions and made sure we were aware of everything throughout the process. It was finished sooner than we expected. The entire team was quick to thoroughly respond whenever we had a question. They were very nice and easy to work with. We have not stopped raving about our new kitchen and the renovation experience.

THE ESTIMATE -- FIRST MEETING John Dolan appeared promptly to give an estimate. He had a notebook and pen and took detailed notes. He also kept pausing and waiting after all details had been decided which led me to believe that he was carefully pondering each detail. He stated that he would obtain permits and permission from the condo association. He stated that some condo boards could be difficult. His response time with a quote was great and he did a nice job communicating with all involved. . FIRST DAY The tear out portion was fine -- done by a good helper. Then John Dolan appeared to ask where I wanted certain things placed. The entire plan that was made became extinct because of what was behind the acrylic. I highly recommend John Dolan.

All went very well. Good communicaiton and dependable. Very professional. John immediately addressed any concerns (minor) we had. We are very pleased with the work.

All on time, pleasant & professional, cleaned up when job done, was a difficult job to get new tub in space without taking unit vanity but they did it!! Very experienced. Very affordable. You can trell they enjoy the work they do. Top notch I would definatley rehire & recommend

He is fantastic. The guys are punctual. They are good at what they do. They leave the place spotless before they leave. Everything is just so easy, they're making it very easy. I knew they would because I've known them for a long time and I saw their name on Angie's List so that made me even feel better. Everything they do is fantastic. I think their pricing is a little high but worth it. Just the way they're running the operation, it's been probably the better experience that I've had.

We scheduled an appointment and met with Caroline. She took the measurements and within a few days provided us with a written estimate. While the cost provided was to high for us, we did feel that it was competitive and that Caroline did a fine job. We decided to go in a different direction, one that was more cost effective for us. Knowing that, Caroline provided us with a contractor who's work she had seen at another clients location. We would highly recommend Dolan to anyone and would call them back when we need other work done. Thank you Caroline, it worked out well for us.

I checked references and all were good, however, I am not ready to proceed with the renovations. I definitely will contact him when time is right.

Very professional from quote to change orders to completion. We didn't like the way the tall, pantry cabinets blocked in the kitchen so they came out and discussed alternatives. The shortened cabinet is my favorite space. They are coming back to do two bathrooms.

It went really well. They started the project several weeks sooner than we expected (which was great, items were already in stock) and they finished up in 2 weeks as promised. The workers were very neat and considerate of our home as they came and went. The only glitches had to do with the vanity top and tiles for the walls. In both cases, the items we selected turned out not to be available. It was a bit of bummer having to go back twice, first to select a different vanity top and then a different tile for the walls. That said, the sales staff was extremely helpful and we're just as happy with our second picks.

The perfect experience! Every single person was on time, respectful, and professional. This family owned and operated business goes beyond what a homeowner could expect. I went to the showroom, picked what I wanted, and then Caroline came to me to measure, and 2 weeks later we had the install. The best experience ever!

These are first class people who do first class work. John and his crew know their stuff inside out. His sisters run the office and expertly help plan and select materials and fixtures. The whole family is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and just a pleasure to work with. Our three bathrooms were gutted to bare walls and totally renovated. They came out even better than we'd dared to hope. John solved every problem we'd identified going in, plus figured out solutions to problems we hadn't even recognized we had. They are fair, honest, and totally professional.

It took 3 weeks, which is what I was told. But they made it as easy as it could be. They let me know when they or subcontractors would be there. I live in a small condo so there is very little place to put anything when it is not in it's appropriate place. I have no back door, so they had to walk thru my living room/dining area taking out the old kitchen and installing the new. They put down sticky plastic over the wall to wall rug where they walked and tarps over that. They cleaned up every time they worked, and left nothing behind. When the cabinets came they were all over my living room along with everything else that I had stored from the kitchen, dining and living rooms. But they moved all the cabinets into the kitchen at the end of the day so I could move thru the area. All the appliances were neatly stored in my dining area, on large thin wooden boards to protect the rug. They also came back for some small problem areas. Everyone, from the ladies, helping me make choices in the show room, to John and all the workers, including the subcontractors were very professional and helpful. They helped me thru a process that I was very nervous about doing, guiding me thru every step. I would definitely recommend them to others.

We realized we were paying top dollar but decided to proceed to get this done quickly and well by a contractor highly recommended on Angie's list. We were told it would be a 2 day job - took 2 weeks. We had to call them back to fix leaking pipe, seal sinks, cover hole in floor, resand walls - things that we did not feel we should have had to point out. The good news was that they were accessible and did come back to fix things when we asked.

Went very well. Finished earlier than estimated. Clean, efficient, very professional crew. Whole team and office on same wavelength. Everyone knew all details. Very nice people to deal with. Excellent people.

I am very happy with it. There are just a few little finish touches left to do. They started in May. They were very professional and completely knew what they were doing. They were right on with the design. They were very helpful with suggestions on how to lay things out. They had a great selection to pick from.

Caroline came to my house did all the measurement. We spent almost 40 minutes discussing projects. Then we never heard from her again. Total waste of time.

The job took 5 days to complete. John and his crew were very professional and did a wonderful job. Everything came out perfect!

The job started on time approx 1 week delay due to structural problem with home. From there everything flowed beautifully. Worker pleasant, easy to have in home, professional. Responsive & excellent quality!

They were outstanding. Caroline was excellent - came out immediately to meet with us and talk about options. We received a quote the next day and all the work was performed within the timeframe they said they would. The installers were ontime, professional and did a top notch job. All in all, they surpassed our expectations in great customer service, quality products and installation. Very grateful for a hassle free experience. Thank you all so much.
