GARFIELD ENTERPRISES INC

It started when i asked for a large shower that I could fit a wheelchair in and he showed up with a small shower with a seat in it and told me it was too late he already paid for it! I asked for the bathroom door to be on the wall facing the back of the house and he put it on the wall facing the kitchen table and bay window ~ love looking at a toilet when i eat. First rain storm the water poured in the bay window and the entry way ceiling ~ he did come back and seems someone forgot to put flashing on the roof. The floor was lifting at every seam so his father went in the basement and put shims in the floor which after a couple of weeks only made it worse but they refused to come back. The room is 24 x 24 and it is a mess but after paying $60,000 for everything i cannot afford to get it fixed. The floor sinks in the middle and is a different level at every seam ~ you can follow the mop-board which is flush with the floor at the door but about 2 feet away the space between the mop-board and the floor is about an inch to an inch and a half. The back atrium door is uneven and i have three big cracks in the wall. I am waiting for the addition to fall off the main house. The son also skimmed money off the top from his father who owned the business ~ he had me write checks out to him personally ~ which didn't bother me until the room started falling apart! So I have a room that is literally falling apart and he is out building houses and probably ripping off other people the way he did to me! It is a shame that someone can get away with this ~ I did contact Holmes on Holmes on HGTV and he is very interested in seeing this mess should he come back to the United States ~ he is in Canada! I figure maybe someone in home improvement will hear my story and they will want to help me and televise it and maybe then people will be forewarned when they put an addition on to avoid being scammed! UPDATE!!!! I noticed that this was listed under lawn and yard work ~ my review is for Mark Garfield of Garfield from West Bridgewater and they put a 24 x 24 addition on my existing home! and that is what my review is based on.!! Sorry for any confusion!

DAVE GARFIELD & HIS 3 WORKERS SHOWED UP ON TIME AND WERE VERY PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH. THE JOB WAS TOUGH, BUT IT WAS DONE IN 1 DAY. THEY ANSWERED ALL QUESTIONS AND MADE SURE ALL WE WANTED TAKEN CARE OF WAS DONE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHER HOMEOWNERS.
