Emilio was one of three companies to assess hardwood floors in my home that hadn’t been touched in 30+ years. Some of the floors were so scratched and discolored that I was doubtful they could be made to look nice again. I was wrong. Emilio and his team restored 1,600 sq feet of original hardwood flooring in a way that makes it look newly installed. Emilio was terrific to deal with from start to finish and is an excellent communicator. Price was best of the three quotes and I could not be happier with the finished product. Terrific company.

We recently purchased a house with wall-to-wall carpeting in the bedrooms, and wanted to replace them with hardwood. After my initial contact, Emilio met me at the property, and calculated a price on the spot... being totally open and clear about how he was generating the pricing. The price seemed reasonable, so we went ahead. The hallways were already oak, so Emilio custom blended stains so the new floors look remarkably close to the existing flooring. He and his crews were prompt, efficient, and did an exceptional job. While he was there, for a nominal added charge, he prep'd and revarnished the existing floors so they are all perfect before we move in... A pleasure to do business with.

Amazing - His company was able to sand out all the problems in my floors. I had water and pet stains on the floor and they all sanded out. In addition, I had very old hardwood floors in the front of my house - probably over 100 years old - and they also look amazing. I am very pleased with the results. Emilio was very accomodating to my schedule and advised me to do the floors right before i sell - and so I waited.

Old school craftsmanship lives here, and our hundred-year-old house appreciates it! Emilio refinished our stairs, upper hallway, and a bedroom. Stairs are always tough because of the need to work around the balusters, and Emilio's crew was up to the task. The results are simply stunning, and the price was fair. For the high traffic areas Emilio recommended coming back after six months or so for an additional scuff and topcoat, which I will definitely consider as it will increase the durability. It's a pleasure to work with someone who answers questions thoughtfully, takes pride in his work, shows up on time and does everything as agreed. Emilio's that kind of guy. Highly recommended!

Emelio showed up when he said he would show up, had the job start when he said it would be started and his installer did the most perfect job.

Excellent! Emilio was easy to reach via phone and text. He came and gave us an estimate, which was the lowest one we received. He also was honest & told us not to refinish one of the rooms because it was not needed. We scheduled the work and he showed up when expected and did the work exactly as quoted. The floors look great. And the house was left very clean when they were done. You wouldn't have known anyone had done work in there (other than the furniture being gone from the rooms!). We were very pleased!

I had used emilio previously to install hardwood floors and refinish other floors in my house. Because his work was excellent before, i hired him to refinish the hardwood on our stairs once we had pulled the carpet off. Once again emilio did a great job. The job was priced right, the work was flawless and he did it on our schedule while we were away. I would definitely use him again and highly recommend him to anybody needing any type of hardwoodflooring work. Plus he is a nice guy and easy to work with.

Emilio couldn't have been nicer to work with, and his crew did a great job refinishing our oak hardwood floors. Emilio was punctual when arriving to provide a quote, and after a few quick measurements provided a quote on the spot. His quote was right in line with a couple others we received. His crew arrived on time and did a great job over the 2 days - the floors looked great. Our only small disappointment was that his crew asked us what type of finish we wanted, but didn't really explain the differences. Without more information, my husband answered that he'd like the same as what we had on the 2nd floor of the house (only the 1st floor was being refinished prior to moving in), but it ended up being very different from the finished floors upstairs. Although different, the 1st floor still looked beautiful in a more natural way than the shine of the upstairs. We highly recommend Emilio and wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Emilio is a class act! Look no further for someone to do your floors. He is professional, punctual, and very meticulous about his work. I am picky-- but he has even higher standards than I do! And he has personality in spades-- so easy going and friendly. I kept waffling if I wanted the floors just buffed, or sanded and stained, or just sanded. He walked me through the whole process, pointing out pros and cons to each, making recommendations on stain colors, all without a high sales pitch. He was understanding when I had to delay the project a few days, and is very easy to reach and quick to respond to texts/calls. His crew showed up on time and finished the project on time. I thought the house would be covered in dust, but it really wasn't bad. And the floors turned out amazing. The stains I had are gone and the floors ma.e the house look new again!

He was personable, skilled, responsive, and an overall pleasure to work with. He worked in our home while we were away, and really went above and beyond - keeping us updated by text and photo. When we called with a minor concern after the fact, he jumped right on it, and resolved the matter quickly and graciously. He prides himself on customer satisfaction, and earns it. The floors look great, and I'd strongly recommend him to others needing such work.

Emilio and his staff did a great job revitalizing floors that hadn't been finished in decades. They were prompt, responsive, accommodating, and over all easy to work with. There was little/to no dust left over in the house, and no clean up. Most importantly the floors look fantastic!

Emilio was recommended to us by a couple of members of our family. Emilio is an honest man, who gave us a fair appraisal for our flooring needs. He ended up recommending that we don't do hardwood floors due to an underlying humidity issue on one of our living levels. He told us the floor would warp in a year if we put it down, so not to waste our money! You can't expect better from a truly decent contractor. He was on time, warm and friendly. I would definitely recommend him for anyone who wants the job done right.

Emilio is the real deal. He is incredible at what he does, but he is also a kind, trustworthy man. He has done a handful of projects for us and always delivers exactly what he says he will when he says he will. Our floors look incredible. Can't recommend him enough!

Emilio was professional, punctual, reasonably priced, but most importantly, the work and finished product was excellent. They were able to refinish our 900 sq ft of floors in 3.5 days and worked on Saturday. He was a pleasure to work with from the get go. I will be referring him to friends when they seek refinishing services. His unblemished reviews on yelp had me a bit skeptical, but this guy is the real deal. Would hire him again in a heartbeat!

After another flooring contractor left me high and dry, I contacted Emilio. He came out to my house on a Sunday and wrote up an estimate on the stop. A day later, he told me when he would be able to install my hardwood flooring. I purchased the natural hickory hardwood directly from WoodPro in Stoughton. For $75, they delivered the flooring, which saved me the pain and aggravation. Emilio's crew was here by 7:30 on the scheduled. They were polite and profession and did a fantastic job in one day. They even coped the flooring around my fireplace hearth. I am very happy that I call Emilio and would highly recommend others to do so too.

Found Emilio through a Facebook page. His name was among those recommended who install new flooring. Once contacted, he was fast to see the job and price it. Once we decided to hire him, the process went quickly and his men had the floor installed in one day! The craftsmanship is superb and the floor and stairs look beautiful. The wood perfectly meets the baseboards, hearth, and narrow areas in the room. The finish is superb! Will be hiring Emilio again to refinish some existing floors in our house!

Didn't chose to hire him. However, I found him very responsive, answered my questions, fair pricing, on time for our appointment. I trust his opinion. I may hire him in the future.

Emilio is a craftsman firstly. Your floors will be installed and finished/refinished with the utmost attention to detail and appearance. I will be using Emilio again, and recommend him to anyone. He refinished two floors inside the house, and an ipe deck outside. All came out beautifully.

Emilio and his crew did an oustanding job. The floors turned out beautifully, especially considering what a mess they were before they started. The house-flippers had applied an almost black stain, which made the whole house look dreary and dark as well as out of style by ten years, and on top of that they had put a terrible finish coat that was blotchy and continued to smell so bad and dangerously toxic, even three months afterwards, that the house was unlivable. Even the flippers themselves admitted it was bad, and offered to re-do the floors, but we had no confidence in what they might do. I was very happy to find Emilio here on Angie's list. We had to get the floors done in a tight window of about a week or 10 days, between the closing of the purchase and the date we could schedule for the move-in. It was all done beautifully and professionally and on time. No toxic smells, just beautiful, glossy wood. The price was reasonable too, considering all the trouble it was to remove the black stain, especially from the stairs.
