The shape of the windows were found to be irregular but these guys came up with a solution. It must have taken longer to create and install a design to made it work. They came on time and installed a beautiful set of shutters that were Hunter Douglas. Cleaned up after they were done. It was so professionally done and they were so easy to talk to and went the extra mile to please. I would recommend them to anyone and have recommended them to my friends
Description of Work: I needed plantation shutters for unusually long windows. Wanted the best which I was told was Hunter Douglas. These guys were recommended to me by a friend and I can see why the best recommendation is 'word of mouth'

Sheryl listened to what we said about the look we wanted and accomplished it perfectly. The installation was meticulous. When three of our shades were slightly different from the rest they replaced them free of charge. We were very happy in every way.

Good, I did have them come back and talk about the window fabric to review which I did end up changing. Maybe pricing a bit high - person that did installation was very good and prompt.

Description of Work: Prior to using Blinds and Designs, we had a discount company assess the windows for plantation shutters. At that time we're informed the shutters couldn't be installed in our Kitchen due to the structure and location of our sink faucet. | |I had Blinds and Designs assess the same space and was assured blinds could be customized to fit the window. The blinds fit perfectly and look great! Love them and how well they're made, installed. Will only use Blinds and Design for all of our other window treatments moving forward. The price was on the high end; but, more important was the level of quality received.

Description of Work: They came to my house and showed my wife and I product. They measured and had products made from Hunter Douglas and International Inc. |Once they were ready they set an appointment and Jeff came to install everything with smoothness and precision. It could not have been better and I new that the prices quoted were good from shopping other stores.

Description of Work: We have tried unsuccessfully to find a covering for an west facing atrium door and a second one in the loft. I happened to notice this store on my way home following a shopping trip. I walked in and was pleasantly greeted. I explained my needs, and oh yeah, a two week timeline. I was given a card with the installers name and phone number, and was told he would call me in a few days and would definitely solve our dilemma. Well he called, made an appointment to meet, and showed up on time. Quickly he suggested different solutions for each door that satisfied us. Came back in a week and installed them professionally. We couldn't be happier with the product, the installation and the timely service.
