Tom Sawyer Painting was professional, courteous, responsive, held to their estimate, and provided impeccable painting services. Tom Lindsley oversaw the painting of our home's exterior, visiting the job and communicating by email and phone frequently. Tom was exceptionally responsive in all of our requests, including providing an on-site estimate; producing a contract; assigning painters to paint test patches totaling 6 different colors on 2 separate occasions; coordinating with qualified carpenters to expertly replace rotted wood on the house and deck without interrupting the painters; and fulfilling a late request to paint interior trim. The painters, Salso and Bruno, were the nicest guys and a pleasure to have at our home. They arrived promptly at 7 am and made significant progress everyday, finishing the job in a week and a half and leaving the property neat without a drop of stray paint. Salso and Bruno had exquisite attention to detail and made our home, which was long overdue for repainting, look like it was re-sided with new boards. We are very happy with the look of our home and the time and coordination it took to get the job done.

He has admitted his mistakes. He has refused to refund the money he was paid. He has caused bodily injury as well as property damage. He has made the house uninhabitable. He is deceitful and does not tell the truth. He also does not know what he is doing and lets his Brazilian father and sons painting team do the work unsupervised. He has no regard for the RRP law. He has destroyed the house and has caused us to be seriously ill. He has also ruined the driveway, used sub who moonlights whom he refuses to identify. He has destroyed us and the house and he has kept the money paid. He has no scruples and says stupidities about painting that are fictitious and not based on fact - Benjamin Moore technical has said that statements he has made re: paint are not true. I give him worse than an F in all categories!

The workers were very quiet. The process was as painless as possible. I have recommend this company to other people.

I approached Tom Sawyer's because I had used them previously on both exterior and interior work a house I owned previously in Framingham. I obtained quotes from multiple painters and found Tom's prices not to be the cheapest, but nevertheless competitive. I decided to go with Tom because I was happy with his work before. Tom showed up as promised and completed the work as promised. He was very flexible when bad weather conditions and move dates required him to come back and finish the job after we moved in. He did so in a professional manner without leaving a mess and with minimal impact on the occupants of the apartment. The quality of his work is superb. He also had to repair some holes in drywall for me, which he did expertly. Tom Lindsley, the owner, supervises the work, but he has a crew of 2-3 who do most of the painting. The foreman on my job was Bruno - an exceedingly accommodating, kind and professional tradesman. My recommendation is without reservation. This is the fourth time I have used them over the past 17 years and I will undoubtedly use them again.

Tom did the bid in early August. He estimated they would start in mid-September and that is exactly what happened. My responsibility was to go to a paint store and pick colors. They started when they said they would and took the number of working days they predicted. There were a few rainy days when they did not come. I appreciated that they stayed out an extra day when it was not raining but the wood was still damp and the paint would not have adhered well. It was a good experience.

We were less than pleased for the work they did to the extent that I would not hire them again.

They were incredibly careful and they turned our really ugly house into a gem. They used good quality paint. They were so conscientious and quiet and careful since we had a baby in the house and they were incredibly respectful.

Our house had shingles on it that were very old and poorly painted previously. They did the right job to deal with the situation. It outlasted our expectations by lasting 8 years. They did a thorough job. They put two coats of primer on. They were careful. The results were great. We were pleased with their service. I would to give themn an A- overall but the form does not allow for this.

They were fabulous. We loved them. They did a great job painting our house. They painters were very hard working and polite. They are very conscientious. We don?t live in that house anymore, but we drive by it and it still looks good.

It was fine. They were on time and on budget. They cleaned up after themselves and showed up.

I normally deal with him through email. I don?t think he is cheap but he does a very good job. He is punctual, professional and friendly. On the north side of our house, the paint used to peel off within a couple of years with most painters. It did not happen with him. It is a non-sun side. I think the problem is with the moisture.

Very clean, did everything on time first class. Other contractors asked who did the work just to show its a great job.

I originally called a popular Angie's List painting company but their price for the work was *really* high. I decided to call Tom Sawyer because they had painted our first house 3 years ago and did a fantastic job. Tom Lindsley, the owner, gave us a very reasonable quote so we went with them. I'm really glad we did. The job wasn't easy (the wallpaper seemed to only come off in tiny squares) but they did such nice work. My husband and I are really picky folks and we can't see any flaws. The cutting at the ceiling and around the woodwork looks awesome. The painters, Celso and Bruno, were also very kind to my two small children. They completed the work in 6 days.
