The quote that was given was 3x more than 5 others. The work that they said was needed was unnecessary and was only to beef up the quote. It felt very unprofessional and looking more to overcharge rather than to remedy the situation. The knowledge of mold and water damage seem to be lacking. I recommend having a few other contractors come look at your job before you consider Servpro

Friendly and fast staff. Responsive to phone calls, which is very helpful in this industry. Their work was good. A bit pricey so ask for a breakdown of labor/work pricing.

It was good. They were fast, pretty knowledgeable and did the job pretty quickly. It didn't charge us on anything. They're pretty reliable and can come quickly if you have emergency like we did.

Service and, Sergio and his crew, were prompt, professional and cleaned up well. Would definitely use them again.

Sergio was polite, quick to call, very flexible with his schedule and turned up right when he said he would. The explanation of available options was clear and thorough. Once we go through the insurance process, we'll be happy to work with their team!

They barricaded the room, came in with all their suits, and we just had to stay out of it. They took care of everything because it was hazardous material. They explained everything, but not very technically because we don't understand technical terms. They explained the process, that it would take so many days and we wouldn't be able to use that room for that many days. The mold actually got into the drywall so they ended up removing it, the insulation, and all the mold. They did their work and we were very satisfied. I have no complaints and everything was good.

Sewage leaked into my mother's unfinished stone basement for the second time in two months. After the plumber took care of the repairs and initial cleanup, we just couldn't deal w/ the detail cleaning and disinfecting ourselves again. ServPro came in and offered a competitive quote and were available to do the job quickly. What took us many days to do ourselves previously took this professional, courteous team of two (Jorge & Roberto) half a day to do--they had all the right equipment and supplies at their ready and got through the dirty work efficiently. The quality was beyond what we expected and it was a great relief.

I had a water leak from a dishwasher in the kitchen which leaked for about 5 days filling the ceiling below with water. Since I had no reason to go into the basement, I did not discover it immediately and the basement was flooded and the cabinets were all saturated with water. I cleaned up the water as best I could but everything was wet and damp. I called servo pro a few days after I cleaned up the mess as it was still damp and getting moldy. They arrived the next day and left 2 large dehumidifiers and 3 blowers to dry out the area. It was Labor day week end--they only charged me for 3 days instead of the 4 days, and also sprayed for mold and mildew. They were quick, nice, and just great. Wish I had called them immediately.

Dishwater installer kinked copper water supply and water leaked to the ceiling below for 10 days before being discovered. Servpro came after 10 days to dry it out.

Servpro of Belmont/Cambridge responded promptly. They analyzed the problem and explained the required remediation clearly. They answered questions courteously. They scheduled the work for the morning after they did the estimate. They performed the work expeditiously while treating our property with respect and care. This was difficult because they arrived to do the work on the morning of a snowstorm and had to get themselves and their equipment into the house through heavy snow. We would highly recommend them.

They made a plan for me but I didn't go with them. The quote was very timely. Even though it was the middle of winter I aired out the cellar and it seemed to get better so I didn't go with what he had suggested. The quote was very professional. He was very professional and he was excellent. He was very prompt. I would use them in the future.

They were swamped with calls but did return my calll; the team that came to our place was from mid west; were thorough in assessing and setting up equipment to dry the basement

They were good at getting back to us, they took everything we ask for unquestioned, and overall they did very well. There was just one miscommunication and they resolved it very quickly. They were quick, professional, and responsive. They did a good job.

This is the second time we have used Michael Pridham's company, as they'd helped us clean up a sewer backup at another location. They were excellent in performance there, and also responded quickly, and were fast and efficient in their work this time. If I ever had another such problem, they'd be the first people I would call. Fortunately for us, insurance covered their costs for this service. We had a water damage/sump pump failure rider on our homeowners insurance. If we had not had that, we'd have to have paid their charges.

They did an excellent job and we would hire them again.

Their work was beyond my expectations. The cellar is CLEAN - not just the areas with obvious overflow, and not only the floor. They even cleaned the stairs. They handled my things carefully, left no mess, locked up the house. Smell of sanitizer rather strong, but I was forewarned and also told it would dissipate in a couple of days.

Our basement flooded while we were in the middle of our vacation. I called and spoke to Michael. He was wonderful. He insisted that I stay on vacation and not come home. They took care of everything beautifully! Our basement looks amazing and the total cost was 25% less than he quoted me over the phone. I am a huge fan of Servpro and will use them every time!

Servpro was great. I had an air conditioner leak that laked water onto two floors and the connected ceilings. I first called a company called Restorepro, which promised quick service and sent a rep but then never showed up to do the work and wouldn't return phone calls. The resulting delay made the risks much greater. When I called ServPro, they came right away, set up drying machines on three floors, poked holes in the ceilings and forced air through to ensure total drying, and introduced me to an independent environmental specialist to help ensure that there were no residual problems. They left the equipment for twice as long as originally anticipated, making the job really thorough, but only charged me the original, very reasonable sum. The contrast between ServPro's good work and their competitor's irresponsibility couldn't be sharper. I'd recommend ServPro to anyone.

ServPro did an excellent job with the cleaning. They were very thorough, they gave us advice on what we could safely keep and what to throw away, they were neat and careful with our belongings, they salvaged what they could, and they did an amazing job on the cement floor, which probably has not been so clean in 50 years. The only flaws in the job were that there were a few small communication issues between the main office and the workers, such that on the first day the men showed up with a carpet cleaner instead of powerwashing equipment, and the second day of cleanup was delayed slightly due to one worker calling in sick who did not make it clear that he had told us they would return on that day. However, they returned the following day. The only other issue was that we did not get an estimate beforehand (our fault for not insisting) and the job was bigger than we or they expected. But they handled it beautifully and we have no complaints regarding their work and efforts.

The first tech arrived on time as scheduled and was polite, efficient, and thorough. He found water pretty much where expected based on the location of the leak, and explained what the crew would do. Within an hour of my giving them the go-ahead, the two man crew arrived and tore out all of the damaged/wet drywall, insulation, and flooring. There was some question about what to do with the subfloor, but they did what I believe is the right thing, which was to cut it open and remove what turned out to be more wet insulation there. They thoroughly cleaned the room and removed all debris. Then they set up their drying equipment and left it running for several days to dry out the room. They came back promptly to retrieve it, and left the place spotless. They laid down plastic and towels as needed to prevent damaging or dirtying my home. I was very happy with the whole experience, although I can't comment on the price as it's being covered by insurance.

There was nothing Michael Pridham and his crew would not do to excel at this project. Beyond that the products that they used and their techniques far surpassed what other remediation companies offered. If you know that you need to deal with a potential mold problem and can afford to do the work, by all means call Michael. If you want to really go the distance with ridding your property of mold you might also want to look into having Titanium Dioxide (it is costly, but a place in CA sells it, check on the web for more details) applied to the cleaned surfaces that had been damaged. We ended up getting bad colds as a result of the amount of time we had to wait before we could do a complete repair. We could not shake them. After Michael did a spectacular clean up we had titanium dioxide applied to the affected areas. The place smelled and looked better than it had originally. Our health was completely back to normal.

Servpro responded to our initial call within two hours and were professional and a pleasure to work with throughout. They billed our insurance company directly, so we are not certain of the exact price; being on our insurer's approved list of re-mediators made this an exceptionally straightforward process. We would absolutely call them again.

Michael was great and scheduled a visit right away. The crew who came were very knowledgeable and very helpful, polite, and considerate. They explained everything, covered everything up with thick plastic and taped it down (the food in my kitchen was not affected at all by dust, nor the books or papers in my office), they removed every bit of moldy ceiling, left only the wood beams, vacuumed the entire thing including the ceiling, my furniture, and whole floor of my house so there was not a trace of dust or debris left. The place was sparkling when they left, smelled great, and they made the whole process very simple.
