The cleaners traveled to Concord, MA & did a great job. Sage was responsive, always returning calls promptly. I had a very good experience with Sage.

Initially I did not have a good feeling about this company because for the days that I choose, they could not do the work. I have delay the service twice. However once it is schedule, they are very good. The staff are very polite and efficient. Brian is monitoring and managing several jobs at the same time to make sure the quality.

The scheduling went great, I was able to schedule my cleaning quickly and leave instructions. They showed up when they said they would and cleaned, they did a good job on the kitchen and bathrooms, and clearly cleaned under the beds too. However, my floors were not mopped, only quickly dusted or vacuumed. I know this because I had dirty feet stains on my powder room floor from my children being outside barefoot and those were still there! Also my rugs were either vacuumed very quickly or not at all. I had to go through and vacuum myself. I had asked to have my basement playroom cleaned and left instructions for this to be done, but my basement playroom was not touched. My house is less than 2000sqft including the basement, and I can clean it from top to bottom so it literally shines in only 3 hours, so I imagine a professional with 4 hours should have been able to make my house a LOT cleaner than it was. Not a waste of $80, but I won't consider this company for my bimonthly cleaning.

More than I expected. This service was perfect for my needs. I am going in for surgery they didn't just work around my stuff like the last cleaning service I hired they moved and cleaned. My bathroom and kitchen are spotless and that was the main area I couldn't keep up with. Very happy will be calling to schedule another appt.

The manager is very friendly, communicates efficiently and quickly over email, and checks in to see how things are going. The women who come over every month are also very friendly and efficient. They make good decisions about what to do with our little piles of clutter, and they are very kind to our pets and make sure they are safe during cleaning.

The service was great! I liked the price of the coupon it was great, the normal rate is a little high for me.

They were great. They were fast and went above and beyond what was expected. The solutions they used smelled good and I was very pleased.

I had purchased a big deal for the service. The service turned out great, and we are still working with them. They are still cleaning for us. They are very punctual, they always come on schedule. I have had experiences in the past where I am called in the morning to say that they can't make it that day, but they have never missed a day even in bad weather. They are very friendly, and they work with us. They do a nice job, and they do it very quickly. They have never broken anything, and they use green products which is what drew me to them in the first place.

Overall they did an excellent job. My only issue is that we called up to schedule them for additional cleaning (we wanted to use them on a regular basis) and they never returned my calls.We ended up using another Angie's List provider for regular cleanings.

The women were lovely and did everything nicely. They were extremely fast and very nice! However, compared with the lady I used in the past, there were things they just didn't touch (for example, grease on the hoodfan, bathtub cleaning). What they did, they did well.

Within minutes of arriving, one of the house cleaners broke a small vase that has been in my family for about 70 years. I had asked the cleaner not to clean in the area of the vase until I moved a big wooden slat for a bed frame. Instead, she proceeded to clean in that area without alerting me, and she bumped the wood frame, which then broke the vase. (I had instructed her to call for me when she cleaned under the bed, because I was going to put the frame under the bed.) Instead of apologizing, the cleaner was super defensive. When the owner of the company arrived, he called his insurance company and said I could make a claim for the broken vase. However, many insurance companies require that the item be registered in advance...proof of value and all of that. When I told the owner of the company that the vase was only worth about $ 75 or $100, and that I had no way of verifying the proof, I expected him to agree to refund my Angie's List coupon for the cleaning. At least we would have been somewhat square in the transaction. But he did not. Also, the actual house cleaning was very superficial and not very professional. The two cleaners moved through the house at great pace, making a great amount of noise as they continuously bumped their vacuum cleaner against furniture and dropped other items. They simply wanted to get the job over in a hurry, and they didn't care about scratching things, knocking things over, and bumping into things. The surprising thing is that when I try out new cleaners, as I was doing with Sage, I expect that they might put their best foot forward. Is this the best? Yikes. My feeling is that the owner should refund my Angie's List coupon AND reimburse me for the vase ($ 75). Sincerely A long-time Angie's List Member

Sage cleaning did a nice thorough job

I tried several times to contact the company to schedule the appointment unsuccessfully.

Brian was friendly over the phone and helped me get scheduled shortly after I placed my order through Angies list. My wife and I are having a baby and we wanted to get a deep cleaning for the house. This service was well reviewed and the price was right so I thought we'd give it a shot. Was supposed to be a $150 value, but was part of the deals section of this website. The advertisement also said it was 4 hours of deep cleaning. When I called I found out that it's two people who each work 2 hours. I know what 4 man hours are, I would suggest revising the ad so it's more clear to the customer what they are buying. So how did the cleaning go? In short, my wife and I were less than impressed. One of the maids was 20-30 minutes late, and I'm certain they didn't stay the full 2 hours even after that. So for one, I don't feel like I got the time that was promised to me. But more importantly, the house wasn't all that clean at the end of the day. Sure, it was more clean than it had been, but it wasn't a deep clean, and certain areas that I specifically pointed out (like dog hair in the carpet) remained in the carpet when the cleaning was through. The house didn't really feel all that extra clean afterwards, pleanty of the window sills were still had dust on them, and there were a lot of little things that just maid it feel as if it wasn't a real quality job. I know they moved the couch to clean behind it (mainly because there was a large scratch mark on the wood floor afterwards), but for the most part I don't think they really picked anything up and moved it to clean. There was a stack of cards that fell off my desk in the office some weeks ago and when the cleaning is done, there they lay. They did't even attempt to make the bed. When you hire a maid service, don't you have this vision in your head that your bed would be made? I do. At the end of all this, my wife and I basically felt like we paid $75 for what would have taken us a few hours to accomplish, and we would have done it better. I don't know about everyone else's motivation for hiring a cleaner, but for me it's because I expected a certain level of quality, elbow grease, or care, and overall cleanliness, that I hoped someone else could do. I didn't hire someone to save me 3-4 hours of house work. Basically, it just didn't feel that clean afterwards and it didn't seem like it was anything different than what we could have done ourselves. I know most of this review has been negative, but it was not a horrible experience. I give it a C rating because it was average. They did clean, and it was cleaner than when they arrived. They were pleasant, and responsive. All that said, I would not choose this service over another in the future because it didn't provide me with the value I was looking for.

I contacted Angie's List and got a full refund.

The first cleaning went really well, I was pleased with the clean. The second clean was terrible. There were lots of areas that were not addressed at all or minimally. I have 3 cats, so there will be hair on the carpet in the living room and on the couch. It did not appear that the carpet or the couch were cleaned. I contacted the owner, Brian. He was very responsive and offered to send the cleaners back to clean the missed areas. The follow up visit was no better. They cleaned the carpet but missed the couch and other areas. I paid $120 for a cleaning that was definitely not up to a professional company's standards.

Overall I am happy with their services. The owner is responsive to concerns and requests. There are times when I think they could do a better job but generally, I'm happy.

They do a good job. Everything is clean and tidy when they come. They come when they're supposed to come.

She was wonderful. She came out and did the job. I wanted them to come back. The owner came out to give me an estimate, but it was too much to do on a regular basis.

Everything was excellent. The cleaners arrived exactly on time and with all the equipment and products needed. They went to work immediately, and two and a half hours later my house looked terrific. The price was extremely fair, and based on my experience today, I can not recommend this service more highly.

Brian was great. After it became apparent that we weren't going to have time to clean our condo before we had to hand over the keys to the new owner (because we were still moving things out) I called a list of cleaning services to see who could fit us in within a specific timeframe on short notice. Brian was one of only two who called me back, was very friendly and professional on the phone, so the decision to go with him was easy. He was able to accommodate our schedule, arrived on time himself and started the cleaning process while we continued to move things out of the condo. Two members of his crew also showed up to help with the cleaning. They all did a great job and I would definitely use Brian and his team again.

Sage Cleaning has a good price and are pretty quick at cleaning, but they were not pedantic enough and did not respond well to feedback. |Setting up the service and providing feedback goes through a manager rather than to the cleaning crew directly, so there may be issues with communication. The manager responds to email slowly (a couple of days at least) and the crew seems to rush through the process, indicating that maybe they are swamped with appointments. |First time they were 45 min late, the cleaning was thorough (and more expensive since it was the first appointment), but their cleaning supplies did not correctly handle our stainless steel appliances, they didn't clean the faucets, and didn't put our furniture back where they found it. We told the manager that we want the furniture back in its place after cleaning, and we provided our own stainless steel and faucet cleaners.|Two weeks later they were on time, did a good job with our stainless steel, but missed a hallway portion altogether, piled up our shoes right next to the cat litter box, left the bathroom trash can on top of the toilet, and still didn't clean the faucets. It seemed that they rushed it. That's when we decided to try another service.

First, Brian met with me to understand my cleaning needs. He was attentive and professional. He was very responsive in all communication. A crew of 3 women came to my house. They were kind, efficient and professional. I am very satisfied with their services and I am looking forward to having them come to my house every 2 weeks.

They cleaned our house and they did a perfectly good job. I did kind work with the owner to do some additional works to set up like a reoccurring things scheduler and have them do some specific jobs like cleaning the windows and he never go back to me.
