The roofing job was completed in very timely manner. They worked with me on getting the correct color of the shingles and fixed the old gutters. I requested the standing water against the side of the house be fixed. They install a drainage pipe. It has rained hard several times now and the front yards drains without a problem. Everything was done a in a timely manner. I also request a walkway be install. All my neighbors have commented on how well the house looks. They did an excellent job and the clean up was great. I would hire them again for any future projects.

Great! Sean was knowledgeable and personable; Hector and George were hard workers who did an excellent job, even embedding a small stonework design I’d created into an “unfinished” part of the foundation near the front steps. I would be happy to refer Rain & Shine to other homeowners.

The repair went very well! It was done with precision to every crack. My house is over 150 years old. The mortar was gone. The outside and inside walls were repaired then checked and checked again. They arrived early every morning and worked until early evening until the job was finished. It was a job well done and I am very pleased with the outcome. Sean and his men answered every question and explained everything they were doing appropriately and with great care. My house is very old and it is very likely I will need him to do more jobs that my house needs. Thank you, Rain and Shine!

This comment is a follow up to my 5 start review in September 2023. Since then, the foundation repairs performed have not held up and we have received water in my basement on two occasions. I emailed the company owner who asked for pictures and then went radio silent, ignoring subsequent emails. I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE anyone for using this company.

Sean was quick and easy to communicate with over email and by phone. 48 hours between first chat, and job completed. He provided our HOA with all necessary documents for invoices and warranties and recommended some additional remedial work for other foundation issues. Would definitely hire these guys again.

Good! Sean seems to really care about the work done and is very informative. I liked how he wanted to also get rid of the cause if cracks in my basement on top of repairing the cracks.

I had a serious leak in my slate roof causing water damage in inside my house. Rain and Sine Masonry and Construction was very quick and responsive when I requested service. They did an excellent job in fixing the roof and the interior damage. They are experts and very knowledgeable on Slate roofing, something which not many roofing companies do at all or do well. I would strongly recommend these guys for any roof repairs.

I had what started out as a minor leak in my hallway and placed a call to Sean from Rain and Shine to see if he could take a look. Unexpectedly, he contacted me immediately and was at my house the very next day (the only 1 of 3 companies I contacted to respond). Sean found a major issue with my roof that needed immediate attention. He spent time fully explaining the issue and what he recommended be done; he showed me photos and videos (and even samples of the damage) and together, we agreed on a plan. With all the heavy rains expected, Sean was genuinely concerned that more water would get into the house and committed to starting just a couple of days later. His crew arrived right on time, Sean communicated with me throughout the entire process, the crew stayed on schedule and my yard was cleaned up so well, you would never have guessed they were there! In addition, Sean has remained an enormous help to me as I’ve dealt with the insurance adjuster and has checked in twice - in person - to check the work and ensure the roof is now water-tight. And it is! I couldn’t have been any luckier to have found Sean and his team at Rain and Shine! He’s not only a hard worker himself but he and his team go above and beyond to ensure quality work is done - on time! Sean’s customer service is unequaled. Our house's cinder block foundation is leaky in key spots and the recent monsoons meant some water got inside the house. Sean came out to inspect and quote. The plan was to remove a French drain to dig a trench, waterproof the foundation, and then put the French drain back. The price was reasonable plus he guarantees his work so that made us feel comfortable. His crew led by Hector, started work a week later by moving the French drain and digging a 5-6' deep trench around the offending area. They stuccoed and then waterproofed the foundation. When a couple of issues came up (as they always seem to in-house repair), Sean came over, assessed, and explained the situation and we agreed on the best way to proceed... and they carried on without missing a beat. Post-job care was good too as a few days after they were done, we had an issue with settling which caused the drain pipe to disconnect from the French drain. Sean and Hector came out to take a look and they put it right that day.

Diagnosed problem correctly and repaired fully. Found second large crack in foundation as first crack was being repaired. Also sealed and repaired water access outside the house. High price but great work.

Sean and his team performed multiple repairs on my 50 year old property including extensive excavation and foundation waterproofing and installation of french drains to divert water from one side of my house. During inspection of the foundation we also found there was serious water damage to the siding that uncovered issues from water on my roof, requiring rafter repairs, and all that went with that process. All work was completed to my satisfaction. I was pleased enough to request two additional work orders to install a cement drive and install two skylights to my roof. Every phase of the work was explained in full detail . Sean is very attentive and responds immediately when contacted for questions or any unforeseen issues. His team worked very hard and were very respectful during the entire process which took about 5 weeks to complete.

Excellent. He discovered many issues. Where the cracked went into the house. Had to remove a wall fill the internal crack and restore the wall. Very knowledgeable. Went over and above with the detail to his work. He completed the job very timely and was exceptionally neat. He is a true professional I would definitely hire again. Great work ethic.
