Description of Work: Short-fuse, one-day window to spruce up an apartment between tenants. I needed spot-sanding and staining on the floors, filling and repainting over nail holes in the wall, and touch-up painting.

He's responsive, knowledgeable about house matters, on time, and works efficiently. He's also pleasant to work with and flexible with scheduling. The projects always turn out well at a fair price. Description of Work: Marc installed Elfa brand shelves in July and some household repairs. He's also painted rooms, fixed things around the house, assembled a table, and moved heavy objects for me. Essentially, he made home maintenance easy for me to manage!!

+ -1 moreMarc is great! I highly recommend him for any handyman jobs you have. He replies quickly and comes when he says he is going to come. And he does a great job! One of our shutters came loose during a storm and Marc was able to match the hardware for us and repair it perfectly. He is very resourceful and easy to work with and he always knows what needs to be done to make a project work. We call him every time we need help with anything in our house, and he always does a great job.

He goes the extra mile: he is always ready to help, always willing to put in extra effort, and always gets the job done well within time and budget parameters. In fact, if he estimates that a job will take four hours and it takes 3 1/2, he will keep busy to for that half an hour doing other valuable project work. For example, once when he was helping with a huge leaf clean up project, he also fixed a squeaky and twisted fence gate. We have always been pleased with his results, and continue to call him again when other projects come up.
Description of Work: Marc helped with a huge yard clean up, including significantly cutting back in a very overgrown shrub that was flowing into the neighbors yard. He also helped with a number of mid sized but complex painting projects, including re- staining a large wooden play structure, painting over a peeling ceiling along a steep staircase, and applying patio paint to a heavily used porch area.

+ -1 moreMarc always asks questions to make sure he knows what I need. He is also very dependable, efficient and doesn't overcharge me for the work he does. Marc always comes prepared with the correct tools. He also deals well with my two very friendly indoor cats. I highly recommend him!
Description of Work: Since October 2012, Marc has done a variety of tasks around the house for me. Most recently, he repaired a wooden finial at the top of my stairs, moved some heavy boxes and helped me prepare my basement for the installation of a washer and dryer. He has also done some very heavy lifting (boxes and furniture) from the first floor to the attic of my townhouse, helped with the preparations for a cross-country move (hauling items to the dumpster, etc.), repaired a broken window (I live in a townhouse that is over 100 years old and one of the windows wasn't closing correctly) and cleaned up a "weed garden" behind my place. After I was away for a year and relocated to the area this summer, I contacted Marc and I will continue to ask him for help when I need it.

+ -1 moreMarc was amazing! He was easy to get a hold of and responded quickly. We were changing the look of our office, but needed some guidance. Marc went above and behind and assisted us with picking the correct primer and finish for all of our conference rooms. He was very meticulous and ensured that he did not get paint in areas that he shouldn't have. We appreciated his promptness, skill and cleanliness (he cleaned up after the job which we hadn't seen anyone do before!). Marc was very polite and asked if we needed help with anything else before he left. We will be hiring Marc again!

+ -1 moreIt was amazing. Marc was always quick to come, professional, focused. I bought a new dining room table, incredibly heavy, that came in two crates. I thought unpacking and assembling it was a two-person job. Mark did it by himself in an hour and a half: uncrating, assembly, getting rid of all the packaging. The other jobs were more routine, but just as precisely done. Marc is easy to work with and a real professional. I've recommended him to all my friends, and they've been as happy with his work as I am.
