They did a great job. It looks like new. Apple does not repair, they will give you a replacement for $300 but then you have to reload everything, download data and retype passwords. BIR replaced the screen and digitizer for $180 and it works perfectly. A much better solution.

They worked on the phone the same day recieved. They were able to repair and get the phone working by just drying out the internals. Just charged the basic cost as stated when I spoke with them.

I dropped my iPhone and badly cracked the screen. Didn't want a new phone yet. Walked into their shop at 6:15. Walked out at 6:40 with a smile on my face. Great service.

We walked into the shop - near Harvard Square in Cambridge - and gave them the phone. They said it would take about an hour to complete the repair. We came back a little more than an hour later and the phone was fixed and ready to go. The father-son team working there were professional and technically knowledgeable. And the price was as good or better than any other alternative we could find. We would happily recommend them to anyone!

After spending several more weeks in denial, I broke down on Saturday afternoon and called Boston iPhone Repair to see if it would be possible to set up an appointment, hoping a best case would be to get an estimate and have the proper parts ordered during the weekend. Ned said he would be able to take care of it that afternoon, and within the hour I had my iPhone back in my hands, working and looking as good-as-new.

I contacted Ned, and he made an appointment to come to my house the next day. He arrived early and called to check if it was okay for him to come then or if it was better to wait until the scheduled appointment time. He worked on my phone at my kitchen desk while I made dinner and dealt with the kids, and I felt completely comfortable having him around. Very professional. It took him quite a while to fix the phone, but he still charged me the flat rate for the headphone jack flex replacement. He wasn't completely happy with the condition of my vibrate/ringer button when he left, but he did not have the part on hand to fix it at that time. He told me to contact him if I had any problems, and I ended up emailing him two days later when the button got stuck on vibrate. He came over two days later, on a Saturday morning, to fix the button at no extra charge. I was very impressed by Ned's professionalism, his responsiveness and his expertise. I was also very happy with the convenience of the home visit. With two little kids, it's hard for me to get errands done sometime. This was perfect for me!
