Description of Work: Had broken front door lock and nearly broken back door lock. He replaced both. I called on a Friday afternoon and he came over within a couple of hours. He needed to buy new locks so couldn't fix it right away but came back early the next week and completed the job within a couple of hours. Price was a bit high because he had to find something that would replace the very old front door lock, and he needed to buy a brass plate to cover up the holes in the door where the new lock did not exactly match the old one. Would definitely recommend him.

Description of Work: He removed the lock and told me specifically what needed to be done. He suggested two ways to proceed which depending on how much money I wanted to spend. His advice was very helpful and he saved me money. The job was completed successfully.

Description of Work: Bob came to fix a lock on one of our doors that no longer was able to latch- I had tried to replace the lock myself but it was much more complex than I initially assumed. He fixed the original door knob so it did not have to be replaced!

 + -1 moreGAVE US A ESTIMATE THAT WAS ACCURATE AND DID A GOOD JOB ON THE WORK.....VERY HONEST AND HARDWORKING. HE FORGOT SOME TOOLS, LEFT AND CAME BACK QUICKLY WITHOUT ANY EXTRA CHARGES. ONLY AREA FOR IMPROVEMENT IS THAT HE WAS 1 HOUR WHILE I WAS WAITING FOR THE ESTIMATE - BUT HE DID CALL AND CITED A CUSTOMER HAD A LOCK-OUT EMERGENCY.
Description of Work: CHANGED 3 OUTSIDE DOOR LOCKS - 2 DEADBOLTS AND A KNOB WITH A WRAP-AROUND. REQUIRED SOME EXTRA WORK TO GET THE LOCKS WORKING ON AN OLDER DOOR & FRAME. REKEYED THE 3 LOCKS PLUS ONE MORE EXISTING LOCK.
