Description of Work: Chimney inspection and while on site, unstuck the flue.

Description of Work: They resealed around my chimney to correct a long time problem with water finding it's way into the attic in certain heavy wind-blown situations. They were successful in correcting the situation - we have not had any leakage since they completed their work.

Description of Work: I first hired Dan for a chimney cap (cost $300). When he placed the cap, he told me the chimney was cracked and the flashing had holes in it. For another $260.00 he could repair it. I agreed to it. He came out - stayed less than an hour and I watched him from the window to see what he was doing. A lot of that time was spent in and around his truck. When he was done, I went out to see what he had done. I could not find any difference in the flashing - he kept insisting it "blended" right in. I couldn't see that. He told me he put a l/8 thick coating on the chimney top to repair the cracks. I could see that. I still don't believe he did anything to the flashing so I can't really comment on quality. The chimney cap looks like any other - nothing exceptional..

Description of Work: They came as promised. Stayed over 4 hours as my chimney was leaking inside the house. Sealed flashing, repaired cement between bricks, repaired inside of chimney and cleaned fireplaces. Very pleased with their work. I have had two other chimney sweeps in the past who charged more and were not able to do all the repairs. This company came with two people who stayed until all the work was done and charged the price quoted. I didn't think anyone had such great worth ethic anymore. These people seemed determined to make me completely satisfied.

Description of Work: Estimate for chimney which bricks are breaking off. He came early left as I pulled in told my daughter it was more work than he would like to do due to his age.
