The actual examination of the property was fine.

Mark arrived at the designated time. He went into the attic wearing protective clothing. He eliminated the wasps and removed the nest. He also treated the area to eliminate future entry of the wasps.

I asked the technician to deal with it. He offered whole house deal. I said I just wanted help with this one room. He sprayed the room and put gel in the crevices where I had seen the ants emerging. Tech was friendly and professional.

Everything appeared to be OK, service provider requested parking was needed for technician at the location (back bay). I have 2 parking spaces and agreed to give the technician one. Regardless provider refused to do service and refused to have the technician call me to discuss.

The treatment worked and the guy who came was fantastic. He spent a lot of time explaining the process and addressing any of my concerns. We talked through whether to spray the playroom as I was concerned about my small child. I decided to go ahead and do it and felt confident in my decision. He also pointed out some things we could do to ensure the best results from the treatment such as trimming plants back away from the house so ants can't craw up to get past the foundation barrier. I wish I remembered his name to list here! My only complaint is when I do call with questions I usually have to call back to follow-up.

They were very fast, they came right out. We have used them a couple of times since and they are the only one they used. Their quality was fine, there are no more ants. They did not really make any mess. They squirted into an opening into the house and then they left.

Awesome. The technicians are always super friendly and on-time. They also come out for 7am appointments to make sure I'm not late for work. Will renew with them for sure.

It did not go well. What happened was, we had squirrels or something in our roof or ceiling or somewhere, crawling around and we wanted them to do something about it. So they came. We didn't realize they were putting down poisoned baits. We have a dog and when we found out, we said we don't want that because the dog might eat the thing instead. So we weren't happy about that. They didn't make it explicit how they do what they do. They came when we initially got the service. So they were responsive in that sense. When I called up about the baits, they didn't seem very forthcoming. They basically told us they had just put four bait traps and we found the four bait traps so we could throw them away and be reassured. They just need to be more forthcoming about what they do. People have to understand what they're doing.

Eric was very knowledge and talked about his technique for catching raccoons. I felt very comfortable that he knew what he was doing. I had another exterminator who did a terrible job trying to set up traps and made me feel like they were just after my money. I definitely felt like I was in safe hands with Eric's services. In less than a week, he caught 2 baby raccoons and then days later, he caught the mom. The office was very prompt with their response time. The whole process was smooth as it could be. I'm really happy with the level of service 100%. I will no longer find another exterminator... I'm definitely coming back to Waltham Pest Control.

Mark was so professional and polite! He explained what he was going to do, and then gave me some good advice on how to prevent it from happening again. Very great experience! I feel that he went above and beyond, even showing me some of my furniture pads that we not damaged. He made a neat pile and put all of the debris in a garbage bag for me. Excellent employee!

I had called WPC to do my annual pest control spraying. They said I need to purchase the deal through Angies List and they will schedule for me a day to come out and also do an exclusion on the house. I purchased the deal through Angies List and I had a place to request the time Id them to come out. I requested the time that I WPC claimed was available when I spoke to them on the phone. A few days later I called to confirm their arrival and they said they never scheduled me and the scheduling function from Angies List does not really work. So I made another appointment for them to come out. When they came out, they did the spraying on the exterior but they were not equipped to do the exclusion. So I know I need to schedule for a third time to get the exclusion done. All in all, they offer a fair service but they are far from seamless to deal with.

I think it was okay. From 1 to 10, they're a 7. They mixed up the schedule and I had to call a couple of times to stick with the schedule.

We had Waltham Pest come to our new house the day we closed, because our inspection report had shown evidence of mice. John was our service manager and he was really great to work with. Lo and behold, we didn't just have mice, we also had subterranean termites as well as carpenter ants. John was thorough in his inspection and showed us evidence of each of the aforementioned pests. He talked us through every step of the termite remediation, which was the most involved and costly part of the service. It involved drilling around the perimeter of our house, which as new homeowners we were initially nervous about. John and another tech (I'm sorry I didn't catch his name) showed up exactly when they said they would and completed the work in the exact amount of time they estimated. John was very careful with the drilling which ended up being more difficult because our foundation was porous and jutted out further than anticipated. He took extra care with the patch work in our brick walkway so it is hardly noticeable that holes were drilled. We felt very comfortable with them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again should the need arise.

This was a big deal purchase. It went okay. the service was fine. If I remember there were some things done on the first service that were not done on the second. I was not home so my wife had them inside. I think they do a spray outside the house as well. That was not done for some reason. I am not unsatisfied, but it was okay -- I am not super-excited as well. There are others who do it in the same price range as well. Their punctuality was good. I think I had a written warranty with them.

They were great. Very responsive. Took the time to explain what they were doing and what to look for if there was an issue. Would highly recommend.

Really appreciated the confirmation. They very easily could have said they needed to come to our house, charged us for a service visit and still not resolved the problem.

He was very professional in appearance and quite knowledgeable. Immediately saw droppings and was able to tell me what kind of critter I had in my basement. He placed traps to handle any future issues.

I bought a year round service contract to deal with carpenter ants. Last June they came and did a fantastic job of locating and dealing with the nest. They also spread powder that killed any residual ants. Since then they have laid and checked mouse traps. This last visit was to renew mouse poison and check the carpenter ants. Ants have appeared again but have been dying. John checked throughout the house and sprayed inside. Since it was raining he put in a work order to return when it was dry to apply product. He appeared ahead of schedule and checked the area where the ants have come in in the past. He applied more product and spent a long time checking for activity. None found! John called before arriving for our scheduled appointment. He removed a dead chipmunk from our dyer vent. He was professional and reasonably priced. The cost was consistent with the quote provided to me over the phone when I scheduled the appointment.

We called in mid-February for carpenter ant problems in our home. They managed to send John out on the next day. John inspected our problems and asked if it was ok for him to poke around to check any other problems. Thank God he did, he found a termite-damaged beam in our basement. It's quite a hidden spot, even our home inspector didn't catch it! So we were quite horrified and upset about the finding, but we were also very grateful to John for carrying out his job so attentively! So John gave us a quote and told us that he can only do the job in March when the temperature is little higher and thus the soil softer. So he came on time last Friday and did both the termite and carpenter ant treatment. It took him the whole day since he needed to drill holes all around our house and our garage. He was professional and courteous and he left the worksite clean. We would highly recommend Waltham Pest Control!

I had had planned on having three visits for carpenter ants. The first visit went very well. The technician was professional and seemed extremely knowledgeable about my issue. The second visit did not go as well. The technician (different from the first) did not appear to be as knowledgeable and was not sure what services he was suppose to provide. It did not go as well as I hoped. I did not contact them for the final visit.
