Waltham Pest Control

Waltham pest control came out within two days of my call (even though I don't have a contract with them currently). They evaluated the wood affected and let me know it was only signs of an old issue. There were no current termites. They told me how to cut back the wood and checked all around the area to confirm there were no other issues. They were really great, quick, and efficient and didn't get me to try and pay for services I didn't need. If we have any bug issues in the future I will definitely use them again.

I had a couple of questions about the chemicals and techniques used, and they were answered well. I may update this review when I schedule the follow up visit but my experience for this first visit was very positive. Service was friendly and at least to my observation, thorough.

Mike was the exterminator that came to my house. He was very nice, friendly and good worker. He made me feel very comfortable with him in my house. I would recommend this company to anyone.

So far Waltham pest control has done one treatment of three at our house and we couldn't be happier with their prompt and courteous service

The exterminator was prompt, professional and answered all of my questions. I had large black ants, presumably carpenter ants, walking through my house. He identified areas where he thought they may be and then sprayed those areas heavily and sprayed the baseboards throughout the house. The insecticide did not present any noticable problems for family members or pets. It dried in an hour as described. Over the next month dead ants appeared everywhere and then there were none. I expect to need follow-up treatments over the course of a year, included in the service. Also included in the service was mouse bait. I had it installed in the attic as a preventative measure.

After a through inspection, it was found that we didn't have bedbugs. They were honest since they might have done the extermination anyway.

I usually do not have a lot of actual interaction with them, but the quality is good.

Bought a new house and the inspector told me there had been termite treatments in the past. Had this company and a few others out for an inspection. This company's price was competitive and the technitian seemed much more knowlledgable about termites and what treatments worked better. Did a chemical barrier treatment around the entire perimeter of my house. Also the tech threw in getting rid of a few bees nests found on the outside of my house. Also they threw in complimentary spider treatments in the basement.

Overall, I felt the representative I spoke with wes very professional and straightforward. I had previoulsy called Orkin to inquiry and perform a service because I had suspected carpenter ants. Orkin immediatly went into sales pitch mode and tried to sign me up for a lengthy multi-visit annual contract ( without performing an inspection first) where Walthem pest asked about the current level of infestation and if I had any pest issues in the past, etc. They then proceeded to recommend that since I don't currently have a pest problem and that since carpenter ants go dormant in the winter anyway it would be better if we revisited this in the spring. I asked if they would put down on their schedule for a follow up call. I felt this was a very refreshing change of pace. Normally when you call for this type of service it is very easy for the provider to just perform a fluff service just to make a quick buck. It was nice that Waltham Pest was more honest and suggested it would be better to wait instead. I have multiple properties and fully intend on calling them back this spring to perform the preventative treatments.

Paid Waltham Pest Control $260 for one 90 minute treatment. Their solutions were not effective and my ant problem has not gone away!

My suspicions of having carpenter ants in the space over my bump-out window were confirmed by Waltham Pest professional. He arrived at my home a few minutes early and quickly diagnosed the problem. I very much appreciated his treating the ants by drilling very small holes in the side and top of the window- not removing window mouldings which would have required a carpenter to reinstall. He did a very neat job. He also cleaned up any dead ant bodies and sawdust from his drilling. While he was there I had him treat the entire exterior of my home to get protection from any unwanted insects. Treatment was non-toxic to humans and animals. I would definitely recommend using them to anyone. They were great.

I had noticed a swarm of something I thought may be termites. After speaking with a representative at Waltham Pest Control, I was told it was unlikely to be termites, based on my description of the pests, and the time of year. I decided to have my house treated anyway. They were prompt, asked detailed questions to decide what I needed. I received information, and professional advice. I would recommend them to anyone having pest problems.

I would call Waltham again for any kind of pest infestation.

I am afraid of bees and didn't want any of my family getting stung trying remove the nests themselves, so I called in professionals. Waltham Pest Control came right out. John Bova was great. The larger nests inside the grill were tricky given that he couldnt spray it first. He suited up for that one and removed it by hand. The bees swarmed around the grill for the rest of the afternoon but by morning they had all flown off never to be see again. He also treated and removed a few smaller nests under the deck railings and gutter and treated all the railings. We had a great summer and were able to enjoy the screenhouse on the deck without having to worry about bees.

They were very thorough and were willing to come back out within 60 days to take care any left over issues without charging extra.

I've been using them for many, many years. They provide good service, are flexible & on time.
