Waltham Pest Control

Waltham pest control was very good. Not only did they take care of the ant infestation we were experiencing but they took steps to make sure we did not have any future pest problems. By purchasing a yearly contract I no longer need worry about any issues in the coming months. I'm one phone call away from a pest free home any time I need them.

Quick, efficient, explained process, sensitive to needs (pets). Was offered a 3 visit contract via Angies List, which makes sense since I have just moved into a 120 year old home, and don't know what I will find. Since he was here, have seen no evidence of pests.

inspection is fine. there are mis-communication during treatments. They did two treatments but not resolve the issue. they want to continue to serve the unit without any warranty, which I cant deal with. I declined their treatments and go with another vendor.

The folks at Waltham Pest Control were quick to respond when I called. They also scheduled the appointment very quickly. The folks who showed up were courteous, friendly, and professional. They did a thorough and effisient job at treating the house. We are now into summer and have not heard nor seen any evidence of mouse activity in the walls. We also have not experienced any insect problems. (Ants used to be an issue, especially in the Spring. We are very happy with the experience and the quality of work performed by Waltham Pest Control.

One person came out to do the service. It took him about one and half hours. They sprayed inside and outside. They were on time and did the job. I like the service they provided, I have used them before. They are very proficient. Would use them in the future.

All went very easy and well with Waltham Pest Control. Last year we purchased an annual contract (3 visits) from a different company for about the same price. They did a fine job but were difficult to reach to schedule follow-up visits. So when we saw the special offer for an annual contract with Waltham Pest Control, we decided to change service providers. Our primary concern is carpenter ants. Our home has experienced some damage to exterior trim in the past due to ants. Waltham Pest control showed up early within the time window they were scheduled for. Timeliness is important to us since we have 2 cats and had to make arrangements for them. The technician who arrived was very friendly. I showed him around the property exterior and interior pointing out areas of past activity. For the most part, this is limited to the exterior. My wife has only seen a few insects indoors in the two years we're lived there. These few times have been near piping or the isolated incursion through an open door or window. He made note of these locations and from arrival to departure was done in 45 minutes. Our house is pretty good sized so he gort right to it.

They show up on time, are polite and neat. Everything we expect in an exterminator.

We had a mouse problem. They came within a couple of days of our buying the package. He was on time, very, very nice, and answered all my questions. We haven't had any problems since he was here, and we know if we do have any more problems we know we can call.

We found some spiders and black ants in our first floor and basement and hence took the year round pest control package for 299$. We also had some ticks in the back yard so did the tick treatment as well. The technician was on time and he covered areas of concern in detail and explained the process to me. I cannot yet comment on the effectiveness of the treatment as it was just done last week.

Michael who took the sample of the mites on Fri, suppose to call us back on Mon to identify what type of mites they were but never called me back so I called them on Mon afternoon to the office and it turns out that he never went to office since he left our home to drop the sample off. Still no call back from the Waltham Pest Control...unbelievable... So I had to reach out to another pest control company... it turns out that we were infested with Bird Mites which is very serious infestation. They bite humans!! I have 2 children and I am extremely disappointed that they didn't take our issue very seriously... I typically rely a lot on Angie's List for people's reviews but I don't know if I can anymore... I DO NOT recommend this company.

It turned out fine. They were very professional.

This is the second time we have used this service. We have had a lot of construction and street digging in our neighborhood that seems to have disrupted the mice this season. This round was just as professional and easy to access as the first round ,quite some time ago. BTW, I was speaking with a professional organizer who visits many homes and she noted that my expereince was consistent with that of her customers.

Overall a good experience. We needed pest control since we saw mouse droppings in the kitchen and were hearing noises between the floors. The person who came was punctual, polite, and knowledgeable on mice control. He looked throughout our house, including attic and basement for the presence of mice, but did not find any mouse. He told us it might have been a come and go event, and the mice was not living here. He then installed 2 mouse traps in the kitchen (1 behind stove, 1 under a radiator). He suggested to install more but we declined since we have a 3 years old daughter and were concerned about safety. They also said that if they installed mouse traps in all recommended places, they would come back if more mice were spotted. But since we didn't install all, it would be additional charge if we needed more mouse traps in a future date. Now the entire winter has ended and no more mouse droppings were spotted at all. It was a good money spent for the peace of mind.

It worked out fine. It was easy to schedule the service quickly.

Very efficient, did a good inspection on the property inside and out, sprayed inside and outside around the foundation. Have not had any issues with ants since the house was sprayed.

They were prompt and efficient in fixing the problem.

This is the first time we have used their services. One technician came to complete the work and he completed it in less than two hours. They were very nice and explained everything to me as they were going along. They did a great job and it has been effective so far.

Very nice quality conversation with pest control experts. I would call them again, and don't need treatment at this time. Nice to get some good old fashioned service - in this era of "What can I sell you now" - but that is probably why they are so well rated. Two thumbs up

Since it is a yearly contract I would have preferred a process where they come out automatically throughout the year to spray the exterior. Instead of me calling them.

My contractor was working at the garage door frame and discovered the infestation. I spoke to the office personnel, and got my answer for differnt service options and prices. I signed up the $299 year round pest control, and paid $100 more due to > 3000+ sq ft. which is fair. The technician came the very next day and took care the problem. I wasn't at home to meet the technician in person so didn't catch his name. The technician also pointed out there is one other area could have more nest, and told us to call when we replace rotted wood in that area, and he can come out to spray again. It was hassel free, the office handled inquiries and payment well and the technician responded and took care of the probelm.

So far, so good! We haven’t seen mice since the treatment. They haven’t yet come back out since the original service right after Christmas 2013, but the Big Deal includes one follow-up. Overall, they were great! I was really happy with them.

GREAT! Everyone at Waltham Pest is wonderful to work with. John has visited our house several times for different issues and he is terrific. I would definitely recommend using Waltham Pest to anyone who has pest problems! John determined what the smell was and how the mouse would have gotten into the house. he also took care of the ants.
