Total Comfort Mechanical is great! They are kind, knowledgeable, responsive, totally fairly priced, and committed to their customers' satisfaction. We have upgraded mini splits in our home with them and most recently added two hyper-heat splits and one regular split, as part of a renovation. Total Comfort Mechanical worked really well with our contractor and we are extremely happy with the results. It's like having central AC now! And we don't have to use our oil heat except on the coldest days, saving us tons of money. Meire and her team are so responsive and kind. Wonderful company, we will always come back to them when we need heating and AC work!

Total Comfort Mechanical is a fantastic HVAC company. We had a minor issue and called on a Friday morning. They were able to send a technician later that same day and worked to accomodate my schedule. The issue was resolved quickly and they were here such a short amount of time, they waived the service charge. W ehave used Total Comfort Mechanical several times over the years and every time they are fair, work quickly and are completely professional. Fabulous - call this company!

Excellent!! Total Comfort Mechanicals just installed our new heat pump and we had an excellent experience. I wish we converted sooner with them! The house feels so much more comfortable now. I met more than 5 members of their crew and they are ALL professional, courteous, and extremely thorough. We sought proposals to install a central heat pump system to provide heating and cooling, and to make our oil-fired furnace only serve as back-up heat. TCM’s proposal was by far the best — responsive to what we needed, economical, and thorough in addressing some of our quirky conditions. The installation happened quickly and smoothly. It was well coordinated even though there were 5 different people with roles on the job. The team was cordial, careful, and addressed our concerns all the way through the job. And the office team was great too with communication and paperwork. They know their way around the financing and rebates too. Highly recommend!

The team at Total Comfort did an excellent job replacing our old AC unit with a new heat pump system. They were helpful every step of the way, from securing a HEAT loan to picking the right system for our home to applying for rebates after project completion. I would definitely work with them again for my next project!

I would like to share our very positive experience with Total Comfort Mechanical located in Burlington. We hired them to replace our AC unit with an AC/heat-pump system. Sales rep was competent and managed to quote the project correctly and fairly. The installer team was well prepared and very cordial, they complete the project in one day. The also install a modern Ecobee thermostat which can control furnace, AC, heat pump and humidifier. Everything works flawlessly.

Great. Super fast - our AC failed days before a heat wave during a period of time when AC units were in short supply. The company was prepared by already having many units pre-stocked, and when an opening popped up unexpectedly we were able to get the AC up and running within days of contacting them. They were professional, fast, comprehensive, and high quality. They explained things clearly and made sure the job was done before asking for final payment. I'm already scheduling more work with them. Highly recommend.

Excellent. A job like this necessarily involves some disruption, but the crew did a great job keeping it to a minimum. They were good about putting down protective blankets etc. They completed a complex job in (a bit less than) two days without incident, walked me through how to use the new high-tech thermostat, and even spent significant time cleaning even though IMO it wasn't really necessary. From the original estimator to the office staff, everyone was a joy to work with.

I would, and have, recommended Total Comfort Mechanical to all of my friends and family. I have used them for all of my HVAC needs since I bought my house in 2013. In September of 2022, my water heater started to leak and they were out replacing it quickly. While the service person (shout out to James) was replacing it, he noticed our gas heating unit and mentioned to me that I could get a whole house heat pump attached to my current system for not much money. This would allow for my house to have central cooling and additional heating source. He mentioned that MassSave is running a rebate program where I would receive $10,000 rebate for the work. It was a no brainer. The quote for the work was provided that same evening and over the next few weeks I had a crew of Total Comfort Mechanical come over and install it. Couldn't be anymore happier with their team. Looking forward to the summer where my wife and kids can be comfortable during heat waves. I would also mention that their back-end team who helps with scheduling and processing the rebate have been very helpful and knowledgeable about the MassSave process.

recently we had a big problem -our relatively new boiler broke! (heart breaking right?). It was installed by someone else but after some years of good experience with maintenance staff from Total comfort, I decided to entrust them for a new boiler. They cared for my situation, kept time and word. I am pleased with their work!

Total Comfort Mechanical had installed mini split heat pump for the entire house. During survey, general manager spent time figuring out the best placement of units, inside and outside. TCM quoted the best price, and they were also recommended by a general contractor we worked with before. The office manager helped us with the paperwork for obtaining Mass Save loan and rebate, which made this process a lot quicker. The work crew was very considerate, used floor protectors throughout the house as well as shoe covers. Installation was complicated due to finished basement, and they took care to open the ceiling in as few places as possible and patch them afterwards. The work was of high quality, with the outside hoses and cables routed in the most inconspicuous way. We have operated the system during summer months and found no problems so far.

Excellent process of removal of the old system and installation of a completely new system. Workers were polite and knowledgeable about the work required. Cleanup through the entire process was outstanding . Attention to detailes was obvious. Very happy with the system installed!
