+ -1 moreEverything went as planned and described. They arrived on time and very efficiently exchanged my water heater for the new one. They answered all my husband's questions, even one that was not related to the current job.

Description of Work: I recently brought in a two year old Kenmore window air conditioner for repair. After about 10 days they called and told me it was ready for pick up but when I went to the store the people in the service department couldn't find it. They said their system was saying that the service had been "canceled". They called a department manager down to explain what happened and after about 5 minutes she apologized profusely for keeping me waiting and told me they were going to give me a brand new air conditioner at no charge and refund my $45.00 repair deposit. They didn't have an exact replacement in stock so they gave me an even better model with a higher BTU rating. This is an example of customer service at its absolute best! There were no hassles, the people I dealt with we're polite and professional and within 15 or 20 minutes I was on my way with a brand new unit. This is an example of a store going above and beyond to make a customer happy. I highly recommend Sears.

+ -1 moreI was quite displeased with them. They said they couldn’t deliver the dishwasher three times. So, I canceled the order after the third time because they didn’t show up. The dishwasher was $850. Their delivering company kept canceling. There was a person who became sick once and then they couldn’t do it. They were short of staff. So, they had one excuse after another.
Description of Work: Sears Stores Burlington Mall was supposed to deliver a dishwasher in November of 2010.
