+ -1 moreWe had an unusual configuration and we were having trouble coming up with a way to do the composite but Ron came up with an idea of how to deal with the issue and even did a little sample piece to test out the theory. Good experience.

Description of Work: If your looking to get any deck/patio work done your search should stop with Ron. I am very careful when it comes to hiring people and I should say that I am extremely pleased with Ron and his professionalism. Ron is very knowledgeable in his craft and is very detailed oriented and very patient to explain all the options you have at your disposal. I was initially looking to just replace my old rotting deck railing and after meeting Ron and hearing about the composite PVC material, I decided to replace the entire deck along with the railings with PVC material. I am glad that we decide to hire Ron and we also ended up replacing our side entrance deck with PVC. I will definitely hire Ron again and believe me you cannot go wrong with this guy.

+ -1 moreThe work was done beautifully and Ron was very responsive and precise from start to end. My old railing started rotting out and I was looking to replace with the long lasting composite ones. Ron came for an estimate and after seeing my deck, he presented the idea of connecting the deck with my driveway, which is exactly I wanted and thought about before. The work went on smoothly and neatly. They are organized and up to the code/standard. The town inspection went through without a problem in the end. Ron is a nice and honest guy that you'd want to hire again!

+ -1 moreI've known Ron for a long time -- 30+ years! During that time, one thing has remained constant. He's meticulous. My first challenge was to get in new stairs that are for an egress door. The end result is stairs that look great and could withstand an earthquake of epic proportions! My second challenge was to quickly get in custom-made cabinets. Ron and his assistant dug in and made sure every cabinet was in place, exactly as planned and completely level. Meanwhile, the house is not! Ron also improvised when things weren't quite perfect. Again, a job well done. Thanks, Ron!

Description of Work: Ron came over and installed a lock system on our downstairs basement garage door. It went very smoothly and very well. Ron was very professional and did the work almost exactly like he said he would. Due to the way the frame of the door was, he had to add a block of wood to try to hold the lock in place. But that was not really his fault it was the way the house was designed. He did a great job and he cleaned up after himself after the job. No complaints and I would highly recommend Ron to do handyman type services around your property. We will definitely use them again.

+ 1 moreI was VERY happy with Ron's work. My front and back porches were a mess and the front was rotting badly. I had Ron use materials that wouldn't rot in 5 years, which was very important to me. The materials were very good quality, PVC railings and plastic lumber. It does NOT look cheap whatsoever (I was afraid it would). He made sure that they were up to code and even made my back porch landing a little bit larger, which makes a big difference, when you come up the stairs. I have no complaints!
