Pete replaced a corroded copper pipe that was connected to my hot water heater - he was punctual and very friendly - I would definitely reach out to O'Brien PlumbingWorks for future plumbing needs.

Faucet - perfect, Toilet still running but said give it a day to seal. Texted Peter, because it kept running and on the weekend received a response that he would take care of it on Monday and he did. And the drain is clear and works perfectly. I will use Peter again for sure, prompt courteous and is fast and efficient.

Our hot water heater broke and leaked water all over the cellar floor. I found Peter on Angie's list and he had great reviews. I called him and he was here first thing the next morning to install the new hot water heater. We couldn't have been more pleased with his quality of work. Besides his good quality of work, he's such a very nice person to have in your home. I'll always use Peter for any plumbing needs in the future.

He had to cut it out and add some pipe. He had everything he needed. Very good! We were very happy with him. He did a great job, was very pleasant, on time and showed up when he said he would. He did exactly what we needed done and didn?t try to sell us anything else.

Pete is proficient, responsive, and affordable. That's a rare combination. He doesn't tell you to replace something when it can be fixed, nor does he tell you to leave something in place that is bound to cause problems in the near future. He keeps everything as clean as possible and completely cleans up wherever the work was done. The only criticism we'd have is that he needed to reschedule with us on two occasions. His work, however, is worth the wait.

It went fine, he actually was quicker on the first job I had him only about forty minutes so he credited me the rest and came back, well it was suppose to be two hours and it wasn't even close to that so and he actually came back to do something else but the part that they given him wasn't right so he did another small job for me on Saturday while he was there and he's gonna come back, he would have to do a full service on my burner and that will probably be more than I paid for so. There was some communication issue were he was suppose to come out about a week and a half ago and he sent me a text message but I never got it so he didn't show up for that one which I didn't find out until later he sent me a text message when I finally connected with him. He was very apologetic and I think he was honestly cause I didn't notice there was a call from him that morning so he did try to get in touch but I never got the message.

He hadn't charged with anything more because I obviously paid up front through Angieslist and he didn't charge me for the part either so maybe he's taxing cost of some parts into some other time.

It went fantastic! Pete was "early" and diagnosed within minutes. Explained in layman terms what is needed and how to go about fixing.

Peter did a great job replacing our leaky outdoor faucet. He was quick too! We'll definitely hire him for future plumbing work.

O'Brien did not complete work at my site because it is outside the scope of his work. However, unlike other plumbers, he still took the time to call me to understand the issue and to make some suggestions on what was needed and who he trusted to complete the work. I number of plumbers have either stated they could not take my job or said they were too busy, but none ever really tried to help point me in the right direction. O'Brien took 15 minutes on the phone to discuss with me even after he knew I was not a potential customer for this specific job. Due to this customer service, I will work with him if I ever need help with plumbing issues that are within his scope of work.

Very well. Only issue was we asked about some additional work and he was supposed to get back to us with a quote but never heard from him

It went amazing! He was 5 minutes early, got started right away, and was thorough, professional, and friendly. I would absolutely use O'Brien Plumbing again in the future. He also offered this service at a lower price than competitors.

Peter's work was exceptional. We have had such a hard time with vendors trying to fix up the house until now. He showed up early, repaired and installed everything we had spoken about, and was even nice enough to let my 5 year old son interact with him while he did the work. Not only did he exceed my expectations he went that extra step to put a smile on a kids face.

Prompt, thorough and friendly service, seemed very knowledgeable about water softeners.

My sewage main got clogged this past Thursday evening. Since I was very happy about Mr. Peter O'Brien's plumbing works before, I sent an email to ask his help (late evening after normal business hour). Though cleaning a sewage main is outside Mr. O'Brien's business scope, he responded me back right on the same night and provided a good business contact to cover that service. Mr. O'Brien has also followed up for my problem afterwards to make sure my problem got resolved. Now my sewage main has been cleared Friday, the next day of the problem occurred. Mr. O'Brien's prompt reply and his professionalism in running his service business has greatly cutting down the time and level of my aggravation during an emergency time like this. I am grateful for his help even he did not provide his service himself this time.

He contacted me promptly, completed the task on schedule, did a good job.

Working with Peter on this project was a very good experience. He promptly responded to our inquiry, quoted a reasonable price and we were able to schedule the work for the following week (this was not an emergency repair). He performed the work as scheduled and the price was as quoted.

He took the least expensive approach and was very honest - more than I can say about other plumbers I have used in the past.

Peter showed up on time and was very professional. He also called me the night before to confirm the appointment. He helped me move several boxes to clear a path to the basement to get the water tank in. I did not realize the path was blocked. He understood and was very nice about it and he said "things happen, but we will work together and get it done". He didn't have to do this. I consider people willing to help a homeowner like this is a Gem! I would definitely use him again for my plumbing needs.

Our shower and sink faucet fixtures were out of date and starting to deteriorate, so we hired to Pete to come replace them for us. Unlike other plumbers we spoke with who tried to dictate to us how the job 'must be done', Pete was extremely friendly and willing to make our vision work within our constraints. It was such a relief to find this diamond in the rough and we're so happy with the work he did! Will use in the future, should the need arise :D

I hired Pete to replace a bath faucet valve. I had both hot & cold valves from manufacturer under lifetime warranty but I could not budge the leaking hot valve when attempting a simple replacement myself. Pete managed to free the hot valve and I elected to replace the cold one at the same visit. The cold valve simply would not budge despite Pete's very strenuous efforts. He suggested I contact the manufacturer (Kohler) to get the complete valve stems which they duly sent, again under warranty. He also tightened up a dripping kitchen faucet at the first visit which has since been drip free. The second visit to replace the valve stems went a lot smoother and I'm quite happy with the work done. Peter honored my 15% off Angies coupon and the final bill was very reasonable given that he was on site for over 1.5 hours.
