Description of Work: Peter repaired a leaking kitchen faucet. The job required two visits, one to look at the faucet and one to replace the washers. He did a fine job but he is based in Burlington which is too far from Newton to be convenient.

Description of Work: Peter O'Brien is very conscientious and professional. He not only fixed all of my plumbing problems, but answered a million more questions I had about upgrading a faucet and buying a new toilet. He works very quickly and efficiently, but never seems like he is rushing. He listens to what the customer needs and comes prepared with the correct parts and equipment. I highly recommend him.

Description of Work: He cancelled on three occasions, never completed the job. Said he hurt his back but the timing on some of the post from his customers meant he was actually working. I waited one month for him to finish the job, after the last cancellation I got someone the same day to complete everything in a few hours. He is untrustworthy and a whiner. I expect his remarks from this review to be extensive, read the other post, it will be my fault, he is never wrong.

Description of Work: Called for repair of a really leaky, beginning to rust bathroom faucet handle. Turned out that the handle was not well designed and couldn't be taken apart without breaking it. Since we did not have a replacement on hand, that couldn't be fixed. Happened that water shut-off valve for toilet began to leak, so that was quickly replaced. Price wasn't outrageous, but I was bummed that the faucet handle was still a problem after service call. | |Peter seems like a genuinely decent guy, who was incredibly patient with me and my 3 year-old hovering as he really wanted to help. He was very responsive - to photos sent via email, etc. - on time and got right to work. I will definitely call him again and recommend him to others! | |
