We went back and forth but due to my project timeline and him being sick, our schedules didn't align. Very friendly and professional in our correspondence.

I’ve hired Pete several times over the years and he’s always been fair and thorough. He replaced a bathroom faucet, snaked a drain, and a few other things. He made sure everything was running smoothly before he left and made some future recommendations for our old home. We will be bringing him in for future work soon.

Peter O'Brien is professional, responsive Plumbing Contractor, which is not always the case when hiring plumbers. He has quoted rate much lower than competitors, and does not push unnecessary work on clients. As an Example, when my furnace went out on might this winter, he replied that evening and was there the next AM. (Had it been a much colder day, he advised that he would have come that night, but we were okay as it was not a frigid night). The cause turned out to be a wire break, a 5 minute fix, and he charged me the minimum.

At the beginning of the 8th year, my 40 gallons' hot water heater with 10 years' warranty started leaking. Since O'Brien PlumbingWorks has done a great plumbing jobs twice before, so I called Mr. Peter O'Brien the evening after I came back from work. Mr. O'Brien starts right away by collecting all the information needed in replacing this heater and be able to get a new replacement (5 years - allowed by the manufacture) from the store and installed the next morning. I have full confidence this time again for the work done by Mr. O'Brien himself.

Pete was responsive, professional, and friendly. He did the job quickly and well. I would certainly hire him again.

Pete was friendly, professional and on time. Very dependable. Finished the work in less than 90 minutes. Price of $525 includes the purchase of the valve and cartridge in addition to the labor. Will use him again.

We had a sudden cold water leak in the basement of our house. A fitting of a copper pipe broke/cracked. Found Pete on Angie’s list. His company is in our town, Burlington, MA. Filled the contact form on his website. This was on Sunday, at noon. Within 3-4 hours he emailed me back, offering to come and fix the issue on the next day, Monday, at 8:30 AM. He showed-up exactly on time, explained what is the issue, fixed it within an hour. I was also impressed how clean was his jobsite. Pete responded to all questions I asked him, gave me advice how to do minor plumbing work at home with my faucet and dishwasher. Definatelly will hire him again, and recommend. He appreciated the photos of the leak I had emailed him. Said this made him more prepared for the job. It will be an advantage for a customer if he/she does that prior to his visit. Glad to find that there are still honest and professional contractors like Pete, on whom to rely. The price was reasonable. Cannot compare with others because did not deal with anybody else on this project. I like to find the best guy who can do the job, responds quickly to service call, and can come soon. This is a proof for proffesionalism. These people always charge reasonable money - one of the main reasons customers hire them. And when you look at Angie’s for Burlington, Pete is somewhere there.

Pete quickly responded to my message on his website. He answered all my questions and gave me a quote. Not knowing anything about toilets, I was thankful for Pete's recommendation to get a Toto toilet for $430. Pete was right on time the day of installation, very efficient, and professional. Unfortunately, there was a problem with some work another plumber did several years ago. An additional part had to be ordered, and a second visit was required for an additional $200. There was no way of knowing about the problem until the old toilet was removed. The toilet is now working great, and I am very happy. I would definitely call Pete in the future..

Pete is a pro and nice fellow. He warned me well in advance that he'd be a bit late for our originally scheduled appointment which was great. He got right down to work when he arrived and knew exactly what needed to get done with which tools and parts. He replaced my rusty old valves efficiently and quickly. And, he went over and above his calling by tightening up other connections. Pete has much experience. He knew exactly where the main water shutoff valve in home was located. He even shutoff the valves that regulate my exterior faucet so I wouldn't have my pipes freeze and burst with the onset of cold weather. He offers voucher deals which helped cover the cost of the work. I would hire him again. (Thanks Pete! and Angie's List!)

Pete found a leak in my toilet and fixed it. He was very quick and now my toilet flushes like new. Also, my dog liked him a lot, and she is a great judge of character.

The faucet was replaced as asked. However during the work some of the back splash tiles were damaged, despite the fact that we explicitly asked them to protect the back splash and sink. We will not use this company again.

Fixed a leaking shower, he saved me time by asking for screenshots of the shower type ahead of time and having supplies ready for the day of the appointment. Very quick, professional and overall a nice guy to meet. Thanks!

Perfectly. Pete is very personable and easy to work with. Pete got me my preferred Toto toilet (chair height, ADA compliant, slow-close seats, and beautifully simple - l love that Japanese design), removed the old toilet and told me how Newton required me to dispose of it (and carried it outside for me.) He fixed the leak in my sink filtering system in a flash and showed me what was wrong. Pete folded up all the shipping material and had it in my recycle bin before I even realized he was done with the install - very clean and respectful. Pete communicates in a very responsive and professional way using Angie's List email to keep me informed of both order status and arrival time (my Toto arrived in two separate shipments instead of one so we had to postpone installation by one day..)

Smooth as silk. Pete let's me know when he will arrive, messages if he is delayed and is very knowledgable (including of cost-saving work-arounds for old equipment) - I love working with Pete..

Job nicely done with prompt service.

I was really upset about the bathtub drain. They were supposed to make it work but [muffled audio at 13:01]. He just didn't want to fix it and still charged me a lot. The plumbing works good, but the drain and other stuff was playing tricks on me. I can buy that parts anywhere and he wanted to charge me $70 for that part but I can easily buy that from Home Depot for $20 and it didn't work. They did the did washer sink, but they didn't do the dishwasher, but that should have been part of the job. I think responsiveness is good because I called them after the dishwasher started leaking, I called them and they came back to fix it.

Pete did an excellent job, that was quick and efficient. He was able to repair the outside faucets, which another plumber said couldn't be done, and it saved me money. It was really appreciated. He had asked for a picture of my old disposal, which then allowed him to get the correct one. I can safely say that I have found my forever plumber. Thanks Pete

I got them off of Angie’s List. He’s been out several times over the last year and a half. I have to say that Peter O’Brian has been lovely. I would definitely give him an “A” that is why we’ve called him back more than once. He has always gotten back to us immediately, scheduled things at the earliest convenience for us. He shows up when he’s supposed to, he’s been very responsible and I’ve had no complaints with the work he has done. He has cleaned up very well. I don’t think there is anything that he needs to improve. I have used other plumbers over the years and I like this guy a lot.
