I hired Pete to replace a bath faucet valve. I had both hot & cold valves from manufacturer under lifetime warranty but I could not budge the leaking hot valve when attempting a simple replacement myself. Pete managed to free the hot valve and I elected to replace the cold one at the same visit. The cold valve simply would not budge despite Pete's very strenuous efforts. He also tightened up a dripping kitchen faucet at the first visit which has since been drip free. Pete installed two new water heaters for us. When it was much more difficult than he anticipated, (removing trim, cutting sheetrock), he did a careful job and still charged me the original price he had quoted. Pete explains everything well and is always friendly and pleasant. I have had to use several plumbers over the past few years and he is by far the best.

Bought the $150 for 2 hr labor Angies Deal. Scheduled the work. Pete was on time. Completed the work in one hour (he did a fantastic job for sure) and next 20-30 minutes I asked him questions on the house plumbing in general (first time home owner). I had some issue on couple of faucets in the guest bathroom, for one he said he need to look in detail and might not have the parts (absolutely understandable and fine with me) and for the other it was a simple use of wrench to clear the clog and he did not do that. All in all he stayed at my place for 1.5 hr max. After he left I checked the bill and in that he had noted the deal was for 1hr labor for $150. That evening I shot him an email asking for clarifications and he replied back saying the 20-30 mins he chatted were also included and he would give a $30 credit for future work. I replied back asking him to give me a quote on the future work that we had discussed and it has been more than 1 week and I am yet to hear back from him. I never leave a bad review, but in this case I am not a satisfied client for sure.

Mr. O'Brien arrived promptly as promised; he immediately went about his job. He removed the old sink and faucet and went about reshaping the old hole, because our new sink was a different shape than our old one. He was cautious and professional and there was little-to-no collateral damage (some extremely minor scratches and they are barely noticeable). He installed the new sink and ensure that it fit properly; the faucet installation was faultless. I would definitely recommend O'Brien Plumbingworks to any of my friends and family.

It went fine. He was personable and courteous; provided information about what causes clogs, how to prevent them, etc. He also helped me find and close the shutoff valves for my outdoor spigots, which I greatly appreciated, He came ready to do the work.

This is a long overdue review so the date is approximate. I called Pete after checking with a plumber whom my neighbor recommended (and who quoted twice the amount). Pete's total price worked out less than what he quoted and the work quality is excellent. I have some bathroom project coming up this spring and will sure work with Pete .

Service was performed in a single day, When I went to work I had a expensive to operate electric hot water heater and when I came home not only did I have an efficient 10 year gas hot water heater but the old one was outside ready to be picked up by recyclers. The system was already purged so I could just immediately start a hot shower. The work was masterfully done so that service to my hot water heater is easy and accessible. All associated paperwork was provided and the work matched the quote.

Excellent! Pete was very responsive, punctual, professional and quickly did the job. He also brought to my attention some safety concerns and advised how to take care of it. Pete is a joy to deal with. I have know Pete from another job I had scheduled with his company for an installation of a new sump pump. I will definitely will use them again.

The owner/plumber Peter requested that I contact him via email which I found to be very convenient. Peter responded very quickly to my query and we set up an appointment . My toilet was loose and slid over to one side. I thought it might be a broken flange. After conferring via email with Peter regarding the typical time required for such a repair, I purchased the Angie's list deal for two hours of plumbing work for $150. Peter arrived on-time. He determined that the flange was not broken. The toilet had just come loose from the floor. He reset and tightened the toilet. Since the repair job was not as involved as expected and without me asking, he extended me a $30 credit towards a future job. His regular charge would have been $95 for the service call plus $25 for the parts. Excellent experience. Peter was very professional. He left the work area clean and neat.

It ran pretty well, Pete is punctual(actually earlier than scheduled time), professional and polite, he explain everything he did very well. and finished 4 jobs in 2 hours. Definitely will hire him again.

It went really well. I paid Angie's List and they didn't charge me extra, and then they had to go because after that they were going to do something else, but they were really nice. The price was what they said it would be, it was $150 and they were true to their word even though it only took 5 minutes. Since the job took 5 minutes, I think that they could have probably returned even an hour or half hour worth of money back to me. They should have been given me some type of credit. It wasn't what I thought it was. Their service was excellent.

It went very well. Pete is very pleasant and good at customer service. He was very informative too. Work was good.

The work that was supposed to be done was in conjunction with a deal on Angie's list for water heater flushing and plumbing system check. I scheduled the time. I got an email at 5:30 am the morning that the person was supposed to show up telling me that he was sick and could not make it. It was very much appreciated as I have to stay home and take time off of work to be there for this service. This allowed me to change my plans and go in to work. We rescheduled by email. However, the next time he was supposed to show up he also did not show. I emailed him the night before just to check. There was no answer until late the next day (after I had to stay home and waited for 30 min before I gave up). He says he always calls the night before to confirm. Well, he didn't do this the first time when he told me he was sick (by email) the morning of the visit. Therefore, how could I know that he calls. There is a clear email string in Angie's list where we set the date and time. However, he says he does not know how it was missed. What I know is that the number provided does not ring to him. You get a message that says email him. I had done this with no response so he does not check his emails in the morning. There does not seem to be a way to contact him to see how things are going. Now I have to waste more time to try to get my money back.

Peter was very responsive to my first inquiry, and very patient with providing the details I needed to make a decision regarding the installation. He was prompt, and courteous and his performance was flawless. He arrived promptly on time for the installation, and did an neat and professional job. His price was very reasonable. He gave me a quote on a second job I thought I needed, and when it turned out to be unnecessary he was gracious and understanding of my need to cancel. He is also a genuinely nice person, a real delight to have in my home. I would recommend him with no reservations, and will use him again.

It went perfectly, I could not have asked for better, more professional service. The provider advised me on what work needed to be done, what to buy and where. He showed up right on time and did the job in about 40 minutes.

Called for a Quote as I have been without a stove for 2 weeks. Left a message and they called me back but couldnt get me in until after Christmas. I now have to look for someone that can help me ASAP. At least they called me back and were honest. Steve Lesslie 978-337-0564

Pete arrived early after e-mailing to confirm the appointment. He was polite, personable and professional. He took the time to explain everything he was going to do and to answer related questions. He was in my home for 1/2 hour to complete all tasks. He was, of course, expensive.....what plumber is not. I would not hesitate to use his services again.

Pete is fabulous! I wish there was scoring to give an A+++. He is incredibly friendly, professional, and prompt. His rates are very reasonable. He has helped us with a variety of plumbing issues with the most recent related to installing our new dishwasher. The initial plan was for us to disconnect the old dishwasher in time for Sears to haul it away when they brought the new one. We had planned for Pete to install it later that week. However, when we disconnected the dishwasher, an old washer gave way. We had water gushing out and flooding our kitchen. We called Pete, he came over immediately on a Saturday, and fixed the plumbing issue. My husband and I can't recommend him enough. He's a treasure.

It went well and I had time left on the deal, so I agreed to use it to replace a new faucet at a later day.
