Atlantic Cabinet Refacing

The work went great. Got an almost immediate estimate, and a specific date for the job to be done. David was super-knowledgeable and helpful right from the start. He told us about the option of our painting the sides of cabinets (instead of refacing them) and just having the matching new doors put on. This worked well for us and we really appreciated this less-expensive option. He did the installation exactly when he said he would, and our "re-doored" cabinets look fantastic! The cabinet doors we bought are solid maple, beautifully crafted and look like they are truly built to last. And absolutely no hassles in the whole process. Would definitely hire again, and recommend to others.

I e-mailed Atlantic Cabinet Refacing and was surprised when the phone rang within 15 minutes.I explained to David, the owner, what we wanted done. I wanted to raise one of the cabinets to accomodate a larger refrigerator and also reface our 28 year old cabinets. He actually gave me a ball park figure over the phone and made an appointment to come to see my kitchen. David was very prompt and brought many door samples to choose from. We made our choice for the doors and decided to add crown molding to the top of the cabinets. He told us it would take 2 1/2 to 3 days and it did!! We could not be happier with the results. We really liked the fact that David did all the work himself. He did exactly what he said he would and we couldn't be happier! Such a great change in such a short time! I would recommend David and Atlantic Cabinet Refacing to anyone who is considering an update to their kitchen.

They were good. He was an independent contractor that has been doing for a long time. I just didn't want to go with the big box store, you'll never know what you are getting. It went very well. I am very pleased.

David was a joy to work with. He was on time, very professional, did exactly what he said he was going to do when he scheduled to do it. There were no surprises or hidden costs. As a retired carpenter of 30+ years myself, I can attest that David is truly a craftsman.

when I signed they had a cancellation so were able to start quickly ..1st day came to measure, came back a week later took out all draws and doors, resized 2 cabinets (looked better that original) replaces all draw internal sliders. I did have to wait for them to make the draws and fronts but I knew about the timing. Price was half of what I got from a big box chain ... Very pleased with the outcome

When an issue arose about the total number of cabinets to be refaced he responded quickly and resolved the issue. This company was head and shoulders above any of the others that provided bids. We can't express how thrilled we are with our kitchen cabinets and the fantastic work David Princiotta did refacing. He is truly a perfectionist and real artisan. You would never know that we hadn't replaced our current cabinets with new ones. David is meticulous and takes much pride in his work, something you do not find everyday. David did the entire job himself, from measuring to installing and was a pleasure to work with. The quality of his materials were excellent as well. He was prompt and the quote we received was what we paid. We had received other quotes and David was competitive. One important thing to keep in mind -- we wanted Euro hung doors and whoever installs these must be precise. The doors fit together like a glove. Many refacing contractors did not want to hang this style door because of the time and precision involved. We went from oak cabinets to a factory painted buttermilk wood cabinet. If we went with a wood finish the price would have been less but we wanted the buttermilk wood finish. If you are considering replacing you kitchen cabinets, you should consider refacing first. It was much less than replacing your cabinets and the job was truly professional. Thank you David!!!

Atlantic Cabinet Refacing is the best! ave refaced our cabinets (from Oak to Cherry) and installed a new countertop. The process involves three steps. Initial consultation where Dave shows you the available door styles, wood and stain choices and provides a quote. Once you commit, he comes back to do an accurate measurement and schedules a week to do the work. When it's your week, you empty your kitchen, he shows up, and a few days later, you have a new kitchen. In our kitchen, Dave was able to make some minor cabinet modifications. We had a cabinet that had a large opening to accommodate a microwave, but we wanted to move the microwave to above the stove. Dave reconfigured the doors to cover the opening and it now fits in seamlessly with the rest of the kitchen. He started on a Monday, finished the cabinets on Wed, and installed the countertop on Friday. Dave is also a master craftsman with respect to the quality of his work and he does all the work himself. For example, he installed crown molding at the top of our cabinets and you can not see any seams. Our kitchen was completed in one week and the quality is top notch. You can not tell that the cabinets were refaced. We estimate that we saved about $20K (we have 15 cabinets) over what we would have spent if the cabinets had been replaced.
