Archadeck produced a great solution to the challenging front entry to our home. We enjoyed working with the designer during the initial phase. Her experience and flexibility worked well. We very much liked the professionalism and quality of the hard-working build team. Our porch and stairs are well constructed from high quality material. In summary, we like the Archadeck people, design and product. We look forward to years of enjoying our front porch.

We were so pleased with the experience of hiring Archadeck to build our deck. From our first meeting with Krisoula through the completion of the job, everything was top-notch. I really appreciated Krisoula's vision, her expertise, her advice, and her knowledge of what would work in our space. We had excellent communication (Mike and Phill are both very accessible) and very realistic expectations of the timeline including duration of construction. We have done renovations before and this experience with Archadeck was superb. We are so pleased with our gorgeous deck which we will enjoy for years to come!

From the start of our project of replacing our old deck and adding a patio, Archadeck was very responsive to our needs and questions. Krisoula was extremely helpful with the project design and specifications. She made sure we knew what we would be getting in then end, and always made sure that plan represented our choices throughout. The entire team was friendly and professional and in the end our deck and patio are amazing and high quality which we will enjoy for years.

We hired Archadeck of Suburban Boston to add a three-season room and patio to our house. From the first moment they were forthright with timelines, costs, and feasibility. The showroom is small but had every option available in situ so we could choose based on the actual product rather than just a catalog. Larry, our architect, was good at listening to what we wanted and giving his expertise when needed. I really wanted French doors and he explained why that wouldn’t work like I wanted. He was happy to include them if I really wanted them, but he wanted me to understand the drawbacks so I wouldn’t be disappointed if we went ahead. He was right. That is the kind of professionalism that puts Archadeck above others. We have ended up with an even better space than we could have imagined! We live next to a wetland so there was a long process to get permits. Archadeck was with us every step of the way, even attending the town conservation hearings, along with the survey engineer, to answer questions. Once the permits were obtained the work began immediately. Stefano’s does the stonework and their crew did an incredible job and quickly! There was a mix-up with a delivery, however, they got it corrected quickly and still managed to get it done in the requisite time and it is solid, beautiful, and everything we wanted. Again, we had a particular design in mind and the crew chief recommended a slight change that made all the difference. They made a beautiful flagstone stepping stone path as well, set firmly with concrete in a very muddy area, that has been holding up amazingly well in the torrential rains we have been getting. The 15 x 15 room went up very quickly, with few setbacks other than the weather. The only major issue was with a third party and out of their hands. We had ordered custom windows so we could maximize the amount of light, air, and view. The manufacturer was less than forthright with their communication. Sarah, the Office Project Manager, and Phill, the Site Project Manager, were checking daily and doing everything they could to get the windows in. They even communicated directly with our electrician so that things could get scheduled quickly once they did arrive. Had it not been for the windows, the room would have been done in a matter of days! This crew worked together like clockwork. We stained the entire interior and painted the exterior, so we got close-up and personal with the structure. It not only blends with our house perfectly, but it is also solidly built with high quality materials. We look forward to using it for years to come! The whole team was extremely professional, asked and answered questions, and gave us great advice when we asked. We never had to wait for calls or emails to be answered. 11 years ago Archadeck built a beautiful mahogany deck which we use every day. It needed a some age-related repairs which they were able to do in an afternoon. They brought it back to good as new for a very reasonable price. Very good company to work with.

The process of getting our new deck was amazing. From start to finish, Archadeck was thorough and very responsive with any and all questions. Krisoula especially was great to deal with for the many adjustments to our design due to our pool layout changes. The quality of work cannot be beat for sure. 20x12 deck with lighting and finished underneath for water proofing.

Larry specifically helped us to keep the integrity of our land and blend the deck colors to match our natural landscape and house. Archadeck replaced and reconfigured our deck this summer, and we are thrilled with the result. Glitches are inevitable with old houses. When they arose, Archadeck re-grouped and came back quickly with the best solution for us. They blew us away with their professionalism.

Excellent job. The end result is something that the company can be proud of. We have no complaints. We are very happy with the new deck and cannot wait for the weather to warm so we can begin to use it. The job was very professional and the clean-up after was very satisfactory. Overall the project went very well and we are very happy with the results. I love that Archadeck can work on projects year round. Our project was slated to start in January, but got moved up to December. The crew who worked on the deck were extremely professional and friendly. The staff at Archadeck were professional, thorough, and followed through with everything they said they would do. The only issue was a small gap in communication. When no one showed up to work one day, we reached out to check in. We found out about some delays in arrival of material, which is completely understandable. A bit more proactiveness would have been appreciated, but overall, as I mentioned, it was a small issue. I would absolutely recommend Archadeck to friends and family. They do excellent work at a competitive (not overly bloated) price. I cannot wait until warm weather arrives so we can enjoy it.

We are thrilled with our new porch. Krisoula was amazing and patient while we figured out exactly what we wanted to build, and the materials we wanted to use. She was extremely knowledgeable and guided us through the pros and cons of each decision we had to make in that respect. Her drawings really brought the project to life. Once we had the technical drawings from the Archadeck team, we discovered that the permitting process would require a variance because of city regulations, but she stuck with us and guided us through the process, even making sure that the application was completed properly. She even joined us on the prime time call with the Board of Appeals and spoke on our behalf. I’m quite sure that our approval wouldn’t have happened so quickly and easily if it weren’t for Krisoula’s help. Once construction started, Mike took over and he proved to be equally as patient and thorough. He was easy to contact and was always available to discuss the project. The crew working on our project was excellent and rather nice to have around the house. They were super friendly, respectful of our property, and did really high-quality work. In the past when we’ve had home renovations and repairs, we’ve had to pay close attention to the work to prevent mistakes or nonsensical construction. Not with this crew. Whenever I had a question, they had an answer and could explain how it was going to be resolved. And, if I didn’t like something, they were willing to change it. I’ve truly had to rethink what my role was supposed to be as a homeowner, because in the past I’ve had to micromanage the process. No one wants to do that, so this round of renovations was such a relief. Initial pricing and timing estimates were right on target. We had a few addendums, but our own fault for making some changes as the build was taking place. They were minor too. There were times when we thought we were going to have to pay more based on unexpected complexity of the build, but Archadeck never asked for more money despite the small surprises. Lumbar prices increased since we signed the contract, but we never heard a peep. Bottom line, the team was determined to get it done within the original budget, and even more importantly, they were determined to get it done right, to our liking. You really couldn’t ask for more! We would work with the Archadeck team again in a heartbeat. They were excellent partners on our porch build and exceeded expectations. We can’t wait for the nice weather so we can fully enjoy their hard work.

Mike, Krisoula, and whole Archadeck team were fantastic. Walked us through every step of the process and were extremely through/detailed with what was happening on site every day. Job site was immaculate during the entire process as well. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a new deck/patio.

We're so happy with Archadeck's work! We went with Archadeck because they were able to build our deck and work with us to find a design that worked in our price range -- even during the pandemic. Their carpentry has been immaculate, and even after the wood warped a bit when it was drying out (totally normal), they came back and tightened a few areas to make sure it still looks just as sharp 6 months later as it did when it was first built. We now have our dream backyard which has been so key this year as many get-togethers are still outside. We would recommend Archadeck to anyone! Thank you!

Excellent craftsmanship, communication throughout the process was continuous from start to finish, price was competitive with quotes received from multiple providers. Employees were professional, personable and pressure-free. Very pleased with the end product.

Decks are beautiful and functional.

This is our second project with Archadeck of Suburban Boston in 8 years. As with the previous project, the result for this one is spectacular. Archadeck is a very professional organization, setting achievable and understandable milestones through their communication. A daily email sums up the actions taken for the day and what is expected for the next work day, which keeps the homeowner constantly in the loop. Much thanks to Larry for a great design, to Mike and Kim for the organization of the project and keeping us informed of every step, and especially to Don for his amazing attention to detail and superb carpentry abilities. To best sum this up, my wife and I sat out on the floor of the porch for the first time the night before the final touches were done. She looked around and said, "I knew I would like it. I just didn't think I'd like it this much." We're already discussing our next Archadeck project.

It went really well even though the February weather was tough. Everyone from start to finish was professional and kept me informed. I am thrilled with the finished porch and everyone so far has given a thumbs up. The house is one hundred years old so there were some updating and codes to address. Mike and his crew did what needed to be done. The carpenter was amazing and his work was superior. I would certainly recommend.
