From beginning to end it has been a five star experience. Restorers discussed the options of work and what they would cost. We had a hard deadline for a large family celebration, which they met just as promised. The ten bentwood chairs and the old, highly damaged oak table came out astonishingly. well. So beautifully done and with such care. All the people I dealt with communicated their deep knowledge of of the work and their love of what they do. Their pride in their work is obvious. restorers is a rarity.

We had a glass front curio cabinet refinished and it came out beautiful. From start to finish, Restorers Without Borders was there to answer any questions and listened to our concerns. The cabinet was done before expected time. It was picked up and dropped off carefully.

I’m thrilled with the work that Restorers Without Borders did on my 100+ year old wooden radio cabinet – one of the few items in my family that passed from my grandparents to my parents to me. I asked RWB to properly mount an ornately carved crest to the top of the cabinet that had never been securely attached in my lifetime. It came back exactly as I had hoped. They also repaired a broken strut connecting the legs. The repair blended the reconnected pieces so well that I wouldn’t have known where the break was. Since this was my first ever project like this, I sweated every detail. All four Restorers I had contact with were patient and followed up to reassure me that my concerns were addressed. I felt that me and my cabinet were in good hands.

Followed instructions on their website, emailed pics and work needed and never heard back. Likewise follow up emails/calls were ignored.

From the time i walked into there shop and talk to Mauty and Alfonso I knew I had found the right place to leave my treasured furniture.They completely understood what I wanted. I then talked to Jeff it is very important to him we are all on the same page clearly. Jeff is the owner. I was absolutely thrilled with the results I would but not sure how to do that. If you make N appointment and see what they are doing you won't need a picture of mine.

A piece of my childhood “Heather Hill Farm” in East Otis MA has been beautifully and carefully restored. Having missed my family’s farm in the Berkshires over the past 2 decades, I delighted when Restorers without borders finally agreed, after initially thinking it to be too much of a wreck, to bring back my dream of this Victorian-sleigh, and restore the sleigh to its new and Improved artistic state. Won’t my grand daughters be delighted, not to mention my family who thought it aught to be kissed goodbye. Well, it went great…Better than expected and I and my family will treasure this piece of our history for all of our days. The Art Deco set was in very bad shape (needed repair, refinishing and upholstering) AND holds a great deal of sentimental value. A very high demand that was met with the most incredible attention to detail, magnificent skill, outstanding customer service and much needed and appreciated humor. We were very happy with the service from start to finish. Detailed proposal, pick up/delivery, meticulous work. After years of sun damage, indoor heat, daily wear our lovely Biedermeier table had lost its luster. Three of the six chairs were unusable or unsafe. RWB brought our beautiful set back to life. I presented Restorers Without Borders with a challenging project. The living room set was 50 years old and it required an expert to repair. My initial contact was with Jeff, via email, and he responded quickly and patiently as we went back and forth many times with photos and information. We arranged a home visit and he arrived with Alfonzo to further evaluate the project. The proposed work was carefully explained to me, an estimate was provided, and they transported the furniture to their shop. The completed project was delivered before the given date by Jeff, Alfonzo and Roberto - the entire team. This is indeed an expert team. The repair work is flawless and the upholstery is elegantly done. The set actually looks better than when new!

This summer I had a French Curio Cabinet restored along with a gold leaf guilted frame. The workmanship on these items is amazing. I appreciated how they were preserved as antiques and brought back to life. Restorers Without Borders crew moved the glass cabinet from Wellesley to their shop and then delivered it to me in Maine. I highly recommend this company.
