M P HART ELECTRIC

The work that MP Hart did was excellent. Really top notch. He had generally great ideas of what we might need, found appropriate products, and installed them. We were delighted to have discovered him. But, unfortuntaely, one product that he selected (an outdoor light that needs to be left on all the time) did not work for us. The neighbors complained about the light, and we found that permanent lighting was not the right solution for us; we needed motion responsive lighting. My husband and I each spoke with him and explained the problems. He wanted to try putting a shield around the light before he replaced it with a motion responsive light. We agreed to try that. Almost three months ago! We have called MANY times. He rarely calls us back. When he does, he assures us that he ordered the shield, and it has arrived, and he will be out (usually "this week") to install it. He never follows up. He doesn't show up. There is always a reason (got a cold, is aware that there's another contractor at our house). I explained that we're actually undergoing renovations and have significant work to do and would really like to work with him given the quality of his workmanship. Still he does not show up. We're really sorry to have to write this review, but thought people should know.

Joe Frederick of Precision Tiling (another great contractor!) is the one who referred me to Mike Hart for electrical work. I called Mike for an estimate. He came out within 2 days and we scheduled the job for the following week. He was prompt and professional. The work was completed within one day as promised. I appreciated that he offered to label my circuit board as that had not been done by the previous owner.
