Atlantic stepped up to take over a twice-failed job from other plumbers and were the only reason our home renovation project got back on track. They were expert in their opinions and quality of the work done, communicated effectively and often, and got our project back on track. Darren, Derek, Carl, Liam and others were a pleasure to work with and always took the time to explain their approach and were open to hearing ideas if there were any differences of opinion. Derek really put in "over the top" effort to get us past milestones, even one time when he injured himself but stayed for the inspector to make sure we didn't have to reschedule, even though he was in obvious pain! These guys are great.

We've used Atlantic Heating & AC for many years and wouldn't consider any other company. Atlantic is extremely responsive, priced reasonably, and they always do a great job. We've never once had to call them back to resolve any issues associated with their work, and they've done a lot of work over for us over the last 9 years. Recently, our water heater died very suddenly; I came home from my office and water was leaking out of the water heater onto the basement floor. Within minutes, their service manager was guiding me over the phone regarding which valves to turn off etc. and he had me take a few pics to send to him. The very next day, a serviceman was at our house installing a brand new, much better water heater than the house had come with, and we haven't had an issue yet, and this was several months ago. I'm a Realtor and Atlantic has bailed my seller clients out of HVAC issues on a moment's notice, so I will always be grateful for the excellent sales and service that we receive thanks to Atlantic Heating and AC.

We've used Atlantic Heating and Air Conditioning for over 10 years for regular air conditioning maintenance/service and repairs. They also do service/repairs for our heating system. Recently, they provided valuable advice that allowed us to fix a thermostat malfunction on our own, saving us cost of a visit. We've always been satisfied with this company - visits were easy to schedule, staff were knowledgeable, work performed was well done.

We made the costly mistake of hiring Atlantic to design/build our hvac system. It cöst is 4x the initail rough estimate. We never saw the knowledgeable and courteous engineeer who sold us on the company again. Instead we were stuck with a haughty and inflexible designer who convinced us that we had no choice but to go with the system he sketched out. Now our backyard is dominated by compressors and our living sounds like Logan’s tarmac when the heat is working. Trusting Atlantic is the most costly and distressing mistake we’ve made as homeowners. Higher-ups at the firm are not responsive. Beware

The service was fine, we haven't had any problems since.

It was quite a surprise to find black mold growing in our mini-split heat-pump/ac units over the weekend! The situation was quite dire with the system emitting a bad smell and the fact that I have asthma and mold allergies which posed a serious health risk! After being told by the company that originally installed the system, “We don’t provide deep cleaning service for these units, try looking on Angie’s List (boo on Sila!)” I landed here. While other companies did respond to my bid, Atlantic Heating and Air Conditioning was the most responsive and was able to send out a team on one day’s notice (the wait for other service providers was up to three weeks!). The tech team, Josh and Zack, arrived on time and called me 1/2 before arrival as promised. They were very respectful, kept a clean work space and (since we are in the middle of a pandemic) wore masks and were very careful about the usual COVID protocols. The four units in our home are now SPARKLING CLEAN! We are 110% pleased with this job!! We will hire Atlantic as need be in the future for our heating and cooling needs. I have given up on the company that originally installed the units and will post a truthful review about them in an appropriate space online. I would definitely recommend Atlantic to family and friends. (photos attached to this review show one of the units before cleaning - did not think to take after pictures. Suffice it to say, no more mold:)

We had a really good experience with Atlantic. Ricardo was a true expert in quickly identifying the problem with our 15+ year old furnace and explaining the details and our options for resolving. We'll use Atlantic again and would recommend to anyone.

He came pretty quickly when we had an emergency, fixed the problem without charging extra, then noticed a future problem and was able to fix it. On the whole a pretty good experience!

Great. Jerol T. arrived exactly when he said he would and got right to work. He solved the problem and even gave some great tips for making a furnace last through the years. Highly recommended!

The initial visit for the estimate was thorough, and the estimate itself was detailed and comprehensive. The work was scheduled and took place on the scheduled date. The work was done on time, and the equipment works well. The company was responsive and dealt well with all my concerns and requests.

I scheduled a yearly maintenance service for our gas furnace for our first winter in our new home. The service itself went fine,but we noticed a chemical smell/ gas coming out of one of the baseboards after the service was done. We waited a bit and then contacted them to see if they could come back. I was transferred to a voicemail and they never called back. I tried calling again but no one picked up. I then called a plumber (mr. Fix It) I found online who advised me to call Eversource right away as it sounded like I had a gas leak, which I did. Eversource confirmed I had a leak, and they had to shut off gas until I get repairs / an inspection done. I don’t think Atlantic AC caused the issue, but I am really disappointed that they could not identify it and even more over the lack of response after the fact.

I can't comment on their actual work because after months of telling me that they were going get everything scheduled, they bailed. My house was 47 degrees inside in the winter, and I contacted them in September to provide a fix to my heating situation. On the first visit, the rep was very gung ho about a Rinnai direct vent furnace. I said I was interested, so let's figure out where to install it. There was another visit to assess the possible installation. It seemed like he just couldn't pull together the necessary work force to get it done. The gas pipe seemed like his biggest issue. I kept calling him in January asking for him to try to commit to getting this done. By February I just asked him flat out if I should give up on him, and he said yeah.

Awesome. They took great care and did a great job.

My bedroom on a cold day would sometimes be 10 degrees colder than the dining room where the thermostat is. Steven came out to give me an estimate. He was on time. After looking over my system he suggested that perhaps I don't need to add zones . My furnace fan was set on auto. He recommended that I set it it on medium. When I woke the following morning. I was surprised to see that there was only a one degree difference. There was no charge.

Excellent! The work was completed in a timely and professional manner.

Extremely smooth and efficient! NOTE: Have not received the invoice from Atlantic as I write this review so not able to rate price; however, I feel confident the price paid was well worth it.

The removal and installation went very well. Darren, our contact, evaluated our heating requirements and specified a state of the art high efficient system as we requested. Darren and Atlantic Heating & A/C also accommodated our request to bring the system on line before the upcoming cold weather. They successfully completed the work by mid October. The removal of the old equipment and the installation of the new system went smoothy with minimum impact on our home. The crew was highly skilled and very professional. We were also grateful that Atlantic Heating prepared the application for a rebate from the gas company. We received the rebate within a couple weeks of completion of the work. In addition, Darren followed up with a recent visit to provide us with advice and instruction on the operation of the equipment. Based on our experience, I highly recommend Atlantic Heating and A/C.

I’ve used Atlantic for years because their work is top quality and they hire the most professional, courteous people. I completely trust them. Liam C. did most of the work here with his partner, Adam M. They were always on time, did great work, cleaned up thoroughly and explained everything they were doing. Having people do this type of work in your house can be intrusive but I never felt that way with these two. I went about by business, left when I needed to and really never worried about the work getting done well or leaving them while I was gone. Thanks Liam and Adam!

Contacted company to obtain estimate along with other companies. Darren was very responsive even though he was headed out on vacation for a long weekend. He did follow-up with email to make sure I understand his proposal which none of the other companies did that provided an estimate. I did contract with Atlantic to replace my old system which was 20+ years old. They came to the house (Darren, Liam and Adam) before starting the work so they could review the plans for starting the following Monday. They did confirm everything with me including the start time. I was contacted at the end of each day with an updated status on the work. The job took two and 1/2 days to complete and the basement was left clean after their work. Communication was excellent as well as explaining what they may need to do in the basement to ensure that everything was up to current code. Both Liam and Adam were professional and polite.

The install team of Mynor and Steve were very professional and knowledgeable. They worked efficiently, explained the operation of the new unit well and left the place cleaner than they found it.

Everything went very well. All members of the team were very professional. They did excellent work. I highly recommend Atlantic Heating and Air Conditioning.

I needed to replace an older AC unit that is in a very tight spot in an attic. I had 4-5 people out to look at it and I thought Atlantic (Bill) was by far the most knowledgable and had the best understanding of what I needed, and did the best job explaining it to me. Their pricing was about the same as everyone else so that was the reason I went with them. After we scheduled the install I didn't hear from them until the day before (a Sunday) when I had to reach out to the office. But other than that the installation couldn't have been smoother. Kyle and his team were exactly on time each morning and were very nice and professional and got everything installed smoothly with very minimal need from me. Would definitely recommend.
