All I can say is that these guys were awesome! Dean and Derek came out, reviewed the job and quoted us on the spot. Quote was very competitive. After agreement to proceed the dumpster arrived next week and the crew the next day. Bob and his crew removed the deck and sleepers in a day and the following day started to lay the replacement azek. This crew worked from roughly 8 until 3 with only a short break for lunch. Absolutely beautiful workmanship and excellent clean up every day. Fit and finish were perfect! Once the job was started they worked every day, even though some days were light rain and cold. The finished product is simply amazing and was done in plenty of time for our scheduled Mother's day party. Overall I can't imagine a better experience and would highly recommend that you consider Durable for any similar job!

It went very well, better than I expected. They came at 7am and they were done by 12pm. They protected my shrubs and cleaned up my yard. Before they left, I asked them if they could do my shed, and they knocked out my shed as well.. Dean the owner came to the job site twice today as well to ensure I was happy. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I am happy to say that Durable Remodeling ended up being one of me best hires via Angie's list or even compared to personal recommendations. And all honesty, I'd rather not write a review because it may make Dean and his company harder to book for future jobs. But since I am not that selfish a person and had such a good experience, it's the least I can do. As others wrote before me, we received excellent service for a fair price, delivered on time (thankfully,...1 week before '15 blizzard dropped 23" of snow on us). Dean was very responsive, communicated well, and it's a cool dude overall. What pushes Durable over the top for me is that Dean took time to think to include some extra smaller services that were needed that I missed on my RFP. (I.e siding repair). I will be calling Dean for another job on another property and now include them on my short list for best contractors.

This review is shamefully overdue. Let's face it, it is not so easy to find a contractor. one hears horror story after horror story. I found Durable Remodeling and Dean Willette on Angie's List. There were very positive reviews, so I made an appointment with him to get an estimate for what work needed to be done. Durable is a three generation family, locally owned business, and that really appealed to me. Dean showed up when he said he would, gave us what I consider to be a very fair price for the work we needed done, and got it done on time and pretty much on budget. They team started on 12/2 and finished on 12/19/14, as planned. there's always stuff that comes up when you start working on an almost 60 year old house. he also hung up all of my curtain rods and blinds! I found Dean to be very responsive. My text messages and phone calls were answered promptly and I got the added benefit of text pictures to show what progress had been made. I would not hesitate to call on Durable again if work needed to be done in the future. I feel very confident in recommending Durable Remodeling for your renovation needs.

Dean was very easy to get a hold of, and was able to meet me to give me a quote within days of calling. He was able to start the job within a week of signing the contract. I like that he had a folder for me with a copy of his builder's license and worker's comp insurance. The contract he offered included a start and end date that were perfectly reasonable, so I could be sure that there'd be no hassles about time. Everything looks great, the door slides in the track smoothly, and is of great quality. Everything was cleaned up afterwards. I would recommend Dean and will probably call him again in the future if I have any other jobs like this.

They did a good job. They cleaned up after themselves before they left. I would tell a friend that they are good. They came back to make sure everything was okay. They came on time.

For a couple of months we contacted several contractors to build us a deck or patio. Many contractors did not even respond, some responded but did not show up, some showed up but gave us incorrect information about the required foundation design, or some were simply too expensive or had many weeks of lead time. When we were about to postpone the project to next spring, we met with Jeff Willette on November 4. He arrived 15 minutes prior to our appointment and explained us our options and the related costs in a straight forward and clear manner. We decided on building a 13.5? x 23.5? deck using pressure treated wood. Unlike all other contractors he provided us a quote right away on site which was quite a bit lower than the ones we had received before. The week after, after getting the permit, Dean and Derek Willette completed the job beautifully within a few days. Overall it was a very pleasant experience for us. They were responsive, honest and nice to work with, competitive in cost, and most of all, the project was completed beautifully within a very short period of time. We will certainly contact Durable Remodeling for other potential home improvements.

It went great! Dean and his staff are professional, punctual, courteous, and fast. Dean was the first person to call via a local search for door installers. He immediately set up a time that was convenient for us and was punctual and prepared. Once I chose the doors and bars, and got in his input (very helpful), Dean ordered the doors and bars for us. He followed up when the material were in at Home Depot and set up an installation date. He and his staff were on time, prepared, and fast. They did the whole job in 3 hours tops and cleaned up. There was no mess at all. These guys ARE GREAT!!!!! I will recommend Durable Remodeling to everyone and anyone. The prices are fair, not overpriced, and his work staff are polite and friendly. The doors and bars look great and the installation was perfect! I HIGHLY recommend this company!

FANTASTIC! SCRAPPED ,PRIMED AND PAINTED. THIS IS A VERY LARGE HOME WITH A HIGH PITCH ROOF. TOUGH! HIS HEAD PAINTER AL WAS AWESOME! HE WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO PLEASE! I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THE OWNER DEAN WILLETTE AND CREW! WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

Moved the crew showed up on time and were very neat. I was going away for the next week and they had the deck done on my return. The only hold up was the town not sending an inspector to inspect the footings before I left on my trip. The house vinyl siding was patched where the old railings were removed. I am more than satisfied and would not hesitate to use or recommend them to anyone

Great workmanship and quality materials. Arrived on time and had work done when promised. Cleaned up after work completed. Workers were great guys and put up with my many questions with no problems at all. Dean was great to work with when. A small problem came up (not with the work) and was rectified better than what I expected. All in all, I would highly recommend Durable Remodeling.

Dean was great. He was very punctual and on time. His Painter Al was also very good. They were always there to answer questions as the project went along. The job came out very good and we are pleased. I would hire Durable remodeling again in the future.

It went well. They are a local, family-run company that hired local people to work for them. They also used, whenever they could, local manufacturers. For example my windows were manufactured by a local company. They provided good communication each day about the status of the projects.

They were very accommodating and professional. We were very satisfied with the job.

After many estimates both high and low the wife and I chose Durable Remodeling almost immediately after getting the estimate (after checking references and reviews). Dean and his crew were top notch in providing us with a deck that had dimensions I specified. The deck is 21' long by 15' deep. He addressed my issue with structural sturdiness. I wanted to make sure the deck could hold the weight of numerous guests as the old one was sketchy holding just four adults. The deck he and his crew built will last a 100 years and could hold 25 adults without so much as a creak. The support structure is awesome. Go big or go home! The wife and I were so impressed with the quality and speed at which this was built, that we ended up hiring him to demo the old concrete that was under the former deck and installing lattice enclosures for underneath (deck comes off second story of a split level). This they managed to pull off in a day. At the end of the day, each day they were here, the site was cleaned up (as best could be during construction) and at the end of each job it looked as if they had never been (except for a giant deck!) If there are any projects in the future that are beyond my ability, I am definitely calling Durable Remodeling to make sure i get what I want at a reasonable price.

Paul, the Project Manager, was pleased with the promptness, the service and especially the work provided by Dean Willette of Durable Remodeling. When we ran into an issue with a deck, Dean worked with the Trust and owner to rebuilt the problem deck. Did a great, professional job! Continually cleaned up as they worked and completed the project two weeks ahead of schedule! The Trust was so pleased with their work that we contracted with Dean to return in the Spring of 2014 and give the back of the building the same face lift!

They were really good. They were on time and they didn't mess around. They came out and did the work. They were straight forward about everything. They came out the next day and they finish up the window and boarded up the siding. It was good work and good communication and timing.

Dean was the guy who initially showed up to the house and gave me the quote. he also stayed and did the work, which I like,. The guys were on time everyday, and friendly. The job was done right on schedule. At first they just came to do the roof but I liked the way they worked so I hired them to do the siding, deck, windows and a front door. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. they did a fantastic job. my house looks amazing.
