Masssave advised us of a mode issue in attic, and we contacted Baystate Mold Advisors for remediation solutions. Al came and did very thorough inspection. Al was knowledgeable and also very kind in sharing his knowledge without reservations. We learned quite a few things from him and also purchased one useful tool due to his sharing. The most practical solution Al provided require a replacement of the plywood which actually doesn't require their service. We thank Al for his knowledge sharing, and recommendation for a practical solution.

Al answered my call, I explained what was going on and why we needed to remediate the mold within just a few days, and we made plans for him to come down within hours of my call. Al came in the late afternoon, and worked until the job was done - into the evening hours. He was kind, explained the work he was doing, and was very professional. Very fair price. Highly recommend.

Al spent a long time explaining the situation to me, and was very generous in offering advice in how I could best resolve the problem. He offered several alternatives that made a lot of sense. I had some mold on my basement ceiling after a long humid spell. I contacted Al who promptly got back to me the same day. I explained the situation to him and sent him some pictures of the affected areas. He was totally honest with me and said it was not dangerous, was just surface mold and even instructed how I could clean it myself if I wanted to. I was glad he was honest with me since it saved me a good amount of money (most other quotes/advice I got was similar to Als, but some companies were trying to rip us off and charge us a lot for a doityourself job) I would Definitely use Al again if I needed mold remediation since he is so responsive and honest in his assessment.

Al was fabulous. He went into each room, attic, and cellar. He explained everything in detail. He explained what to look for, where to look for it, and most importantly how to treat any mold. He also looked to every type of pipe entry to look for water leaks. He did not try to sell anything at all, he gave honest answers and very in expensive everyday fixes. He even recommended what to look for in the pants and cleaners. I would highly, without hesitation recommend Al. I myself will call him every five years or so to come back to re-check. He made a scary subject not so scary.

Very well. Mr. Hall spent 1-1/2 hours using professional equipment to sample air quality, detect mold, and to make thermal scans to detect quality of insulation in walls and ceilings. His resulting report was thorough and prompt. Included in the report were lab results, photos of problem areas, and heat-sensitive photos of areas where insulation is either weak or completely lacking. He also detected mold in our garage. That mold has penetrated our interior air heating and cooling system. We would recommend Mr. Hall without reservation to anyone seeking help and advice with respect to a suspected air quality problem.

Al was awesome! One of the first things he did was help alleviate my fears and anxieties of mold being in my home. He listened to everything I had to say, and gave me honest feedback. He never tried to sell me what was not needed. He was very informative about what was going on in my home, what my options were, and how I could handle it myself. It was not the air purifier that impressed me. When we had a basement issue in another property (it was nasty). He made sure that once the problem was fixed that the air quality was excellent. He installed purifiers and fans for about a week until it was safe. He works quickly and efficiently. Al is very thorough, very thorough.
