Description of Work: This was the second time I've called on Anania in an emergency. The first time was in August to fix leak from an upstairs bath into the downstairs dining room ($450). Second time to locate and fix basement leak.

Description of Work: Leaking bathroom drain in very old claw foot tub. I am fairly handy and spent time on phone & visiting plumbing supply shops and tried replacing parts myself over a few days. It was still leaking and hard to see why/where. A complete drain kit was over $100 and only found in a supply shop too far away. I called Anania who I had used once before years agoy to replace an entrance shut-off valve. The office staff that answered was excellant and acknowledged my need for a priority appointment. They scheduled me for mid-morning the next day and arrived promptly. The plumber was very professional and courteous. However I was somewhat concerned with a 30 year-old working on my very old plumbing (circa 1940?). He knew exactly what he was dealing with and very quickly identified and showed me the problem (using camera on phone). It was clear to me that I needed the entire drain replaced. Fortunately they had one in stock which amazed me! An hour later he returned with the kit and had the entire new drain installed & tested within 30 minutes. This is the 2nd time I've been impressed with Anania and they are now the only ones I'll call.
