Description of Work: This is a coop of Brazilian women who provide house cleaning services and also make their own environmentally sensitive cleaning products. We have Josefina clean our house every other week and it's hard to imagine anybody better. The organization has been very professional and responsive. They even contacted me once about a minor accident that I would not have noticed and offered to compensate me for it (but it was something that I could easily repair at no cost).

Description of Work: Valdirene did an excellent job cleaning my home! I am very pleased with the way all of rooms looked after she finished. The hardwood floors, woodwork, bathroom and kitchen shined and everthing looked great! I really like the fact that she uses all-natural products - no harsh chemicals. She did a wonderful job and I've asked her to come back on a monthly basis.

Description of Work: Contacted them last week, send a detailed email, never heard from them. Was really excited to have potentially found a company that uses clean products. I understand if companies are booked but a one liner that they are not interested would have been appreciated.

Description of Work: Fantastic service!! I just had renovations of my kitchen, so my place was quite dusty. Even the areas that were not renovated had not been cleaned in some time. They scrubbed my place clean and dusted and vacuumed everything.

Description of Work: I had a first time cleaning done on our house. The women came to give me a first-time and monthly estimate, and then I scheduled a first appointment. Since we are in the middle of renovating, I had them only do part of the house- I believe we were charged for 8 rooms, 1.5 baths, and one pet. They charge by room and that worked out well for us since several of the rooms are the size of two. I will definitely be hiring them to come on a monthly basis.

Description of Work: I chose the following plan: The initial cleaning of a spacious 1 bedroom apartment cost $140 for me, then each monthly cleaning thereafter costs $90, regardless of hours spent. Great deal! They charge an extra $5 for extras like cleaning the fridge, etc, but it's worth it because their price is so reasonable. The same woman, Elizangela, works with me each time (2 times so far). She does a great job. Of course I have to make sure to communicate my preferences at the beginning of an appointment, like wipe down the tv screen with my lens cloth, not her normal cleaning cloth, and leave my stacks of books on the end table where they are instead of put them back on the shelves. Elizangela remembers my preferences from one appt to the next, so I'm confident that after the next time I won't have to go over any reminders. Elizangela does a great job of cleaning. She's very thorough and even moves furniture a bit to clean behind and under. She even offered to clean my bookshelves entirely (moving Everything off) rather than just dusting off the current edges (which I prefer). She folds the towels in the bathroom and most amazingly of all, she worked her magic to scrub off a gray film (from the previous tenant) around the drain of the white sink that I hadn't been able to get off since we moved in a year ago! Elizangela uses natural, homemade cleaning products that have a scent but are nothing like pungent bleach, which I can't stand. She asked me at the beginning of the initial cleaning if I wanted her to use the more powerful, conventional cleaning sprays for that time only, but I said no and she respected my decision. Overall, Elizangela is great, follows through on making and keeping and performing well during appts. The woman on the phone at the agency is great, too!

Description of Work: clearning service. this is a brazilian women's cooperative and they use non toxic cleaning products that are good for the environment. because it is a cooperative the women have a chance to advance. I have been using them weekly for several years. they are very flexible if I need to cancel at the last minute or change the cleaning day for some reason. we have 4 bedrooms but the price is for 3 as they don't clean my office at my request.
