Tim is an absolute scammer. First contact is prompt and curteous, but when the window he repaired broke again in less than 3 months, he refused to show up and now avoids us.

My husband, Marcus, and I are so grateful to reconnect with Timmy and Solo Glass! Marcus has been in property management for over 20 years, and Timmy helped him several times over the years, with great results. Timmy most recently helped us at our home in Allston, with a custom cut a piece of plexiglass and replaced a broken glass pane in a 100+ year old ornamental exterior window. He did all the work on site and was even able to do custom shading, so the window matched exactly. Amazing! He did a great job and was a pleasure to work with. Very affordable prices, too. Timmy is extremely responsive, knowledgeable, honest, reliable, and a super nice fellow! We’ve dealt with a lot of contractors and wish they were half as nice and honest as Timmy. I am so grateful I found Tim! I have a 121 year old house in Boston and I rent out the first floor. You can imagine I need "a guy" for everything and Tim is THE guy for my windows now!!! One of my storm windows from long ago shattered. I called Solo Glass and immediately got the owner, Tim. He was incredibly friendly, personable and professional on our initial call. He clearly explained every step of the process. Very shortly thereafter, Tim scheduled me for an appointment and arrived punctually with his four beautiful pug pups! He was so friendly and polite and exercising safety precautions during the pandemic by wearing a mask, keeping a 6 foot distance and limiting the amount of time he spent inside the house. He needed to enter my tenant's unit and explained very carefully to myself and my tenant how the process works and was able to repair the storm window in open air, spending only about 5 minutes indoors. The window looks AWESOME. This was really reassuring to me, given that I need MORE work done on my windows and I don't want to have to wait for the pandemic to be over to complete the work. Tim is well-informed, SO professional and SO good at what he does. That's a rarity nowadays, so if you need any window restoration/repair - he's THE guy!

Tim is a qualified guy who is friendly and easy to work with. He replaced a window in one of our rental units without any drama or hassle. He was willing to drive out of his way to pick up and drop off keys. Would hire him again.
