Martin is easy to work with. As with every significant project there are things that are planned and things that are not planned. In our case we clearly did not lay out a specific plan for the patio, and some additional work, specifically stone cutting and rearranging bluestone into the pattern my wife wanted. This cost extra as labor ain't free. Our old cement cast 6 step stairway had to be demolished and rebuilt. 2" bluestone treads were installed and bluestone 1/2" veneer used to finish the staircase. This came out really nice, very solid. Martin demo'd our old walkways and rebuilt using beautiful bluestone my wife and I picked out at Stone Gallery in Newton. Seeing the great job Martin and his guys did on our walkways and stairs, we decided to splurge and redo our back patio and extend the back walkway so it connected to the patio. Martin understood what we wanted and executed the plan smoothly. The whole job went well and was completed on time and on budget with the one exception I mentioned. We are so pleased with the look and feel of our stonework, it really adds an elegant touch and has for sure added curb appeal to our house.
