Description of Work: Worked for me a few years ago and were terrific. Came out quickly and Told me I did not need service someone else tried to sell me for several hundred dollars. Recently, they called back promptly and answered a question that meant I did not need service.

Description of Work: They were great. They take pride in being very responsive, and very punctual and reliable. The price was very fair and they especially took pride in doing the work right, and following through to make sure we were pleased with it, which we were. Recommend without hesitation.

Description of Work: heater quit midwinter - called them out if the blue one evening; they were extremely responsive, diagnosed the issue quickly (control board needed replacement), offered alternatives (fix, replace the board, replace the aging heater), and even managed to provide a temp override while waiting in the replacement board. Outstanding service, they are now my "go-to" hvac service.

Description of Work: My wife was quite impressed with the overall level of service, punctuality, and timeliness. We had a central air-conditioning unit that was not working. The staff replaced an electric starter and had the system working within 30 minutes. They also informed us how to manage the system, which is old, in order to extend it's life. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Replaced a defective hot water heater. |Serviced boiler and fixed a leaking radiator, fixed preasure in the system and got 2 kick space heaters working, and balanced the heating system. John and Artie went above and beyond to make sure our heating system was fixed and running properly. I highly recommend them and wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

Description of Work: Fire and Ice replaced our air conditioner compressor. They were incredibly responsive and punctual and were the first company I was able to reach in the midst of a heat wave when our air conditioner failed.

Description of Work: They installed a split ductless AC system into our 3rd floor condo. Jon was great to work with. We had a baby due any minute and he found us the right system for our budget, installed it in a timely professional fashion and even helped us out to get an energy efficiency rebate after the job was completed. I would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: They came early on a Saturday morning to repair my central AC system. They were on time, their prices are fair, they were willing to climb up onto my unfriendly roof, and the system appears to be fixed.

Description of Work: We called this evening with due to a leak in the ceiling/wall caused by a backup in our AC unit in the attic. John, one of the owners, answered and said that he and Arty (the other owner) were finishing up their last job of the evening but would swing by after they finished and see if they could help resolve the problem. They arrived at our house within 30 minutes, cleaned the clog area in the unit as well as drained all gathered water. The job was done fast, and the unit seems to be working well as of now. Both men were very nice and explained the problem clearly. We would use them again and will refer them to friends/family.
