+ -1 moreEdward M. Neary Painting were very protective of our property. They used drop cloths and were careful not to splatter paint. They arrived when they said they would and did a beautiful job. I don't remember what they charged us, but I do know I considered it a very fair price.
Description of Work: We had them paint 3 medium sized bedrooms. They first prepped the walls.

+ -1 moreI GOT THIS COMPANY'S CARD FROM THE H.W. FOOTE PAINT/DECORATING CENTER IN BRIGHTON. ED CAME TO GIVE A FREE ESTIMATE AND ASKED GOOD QUESTIONS IN ORDER TO DETERMINE PRECISELY WHAT WE HAD IN MIND. HE HAD THOUGHTFUL, EASY TO FOLLOW ANSWERS TO MY QUESTIONS. I THOUGHT HE WOULD DO A QUALITY JOB AND WE HOPED TO HIRE HIM EVEN THOUGH IT SEEMED PRICEY. AS IT TURNED OUT, WE HIRED 'YOURS TRULY' WHEN I LOST MY JOB. IT HAS HELPED ME APPRECIATE THE COST, IN PART BECAUSE IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO TACKLE THIS WHILE ACTUALLY LIVING HERE. I KNOW FROM MY CONVERSATION WITH ED THAT THIS WAS A FACTOR, AND UNDERSTANDABLY SO.
Description of Work: PAINT ENTIRE AREA OF WELL-FURNISHED 800SF CONDO WHILE WE WERE STILL LIVING HERE: BR, BATH, KITCHEN, LR/DR, FOYER (NOT THE INTERIOR OF CLOSETS). PREP WORK TO INCLUDE PATCHING HOLES, CRACKS AND CAULKING OPEN JOINTS. BATHROOM WINDOW FRAME, MADE OF (CORRODING) METAL, AND BATHROOM CEILING WITH CALCIMINE BASE TO RECEIVE SPECIAL TREATMENT. TWO COATS OF PAINT TO CEILING, TRIM, WALLS. ALSO REPLACE TWO PANES IN SEPARATE WINDOWS (REQUIRES REMOVING WINDOWS TO BE DONE WELL). PAINTERS WOULD SUPPLY FURNITURE AND FLOOR COVERINGS AS WELL AS BENJAMIN MOORE PAINTS.
