I wanted to buy something good that was going to last. Its a 1904 house and its the original lock. There's just one guy that came over but he really knew what he was doing. He was very efficient, very responsive and they got the parts and everything. This was a Morits lock. A lot of locks, its a little round hole in the door and stick it through. This one here, you actually have to do a rectangle hole in it and slide it. Its a lot trickier and those are really expensive. I'll definitely use them again. Mortis lock is more complex and all that.

They were on time, they were courteous in booking the appointment and I felt it was a reasonable price.

The house I bought recently has Medeco locks provided by Boston Lock and Safe. The keys all say "Boston Lock and Safe" on them and apparently can only be generated by this company. I went in last Friday because I needed some additional keys. The person I interacted with was thoroughly rude and treated me as a suspect rather than as a customer. As one example, while we all have to show ID from time to time, but this is the only place where the person said "do you have any ID so I can see if you are who you say you are." A thoroughly unpleasant experience from start to finish

The service was perfect from start to finish. It was an emergency situation and they were able to come out within an hour. He was very professional and curteous. He did a beautiful job and the lock works perfectly. He had everything he needed right in his truck. I would definitely hire him again.

I phoned in my order a month before I needed them knowing that September is a very busy time for them. The order wasn't ready when they told me. I think they may have lost it. It was ready a few days later. Their price is great and it's so much easier replacing a cylinder instead of the whole lock. I'd use them again and again.
