Fantastic! Emilio called me in the morning to confirm their arrival time. He explained exactly what they were going to do and asked my opinion on some of the installation details. He and Shane set to work right away, considerate of the noise and keeping the doors closed so pets would not get out. The entire project took just under 3 hours. Emilio explained all the workings, how to change the filter on the dehumidifier, about getting an annual maintenance review, etc. The ground was too frozen to install the piping underground, but they will come back in the spring to finish that piece. Both men were very cheerful, respectful and pleasant to do work with. I would definitely highly recommend their services!!
Description of Work: I needed a new (professional!) sump system in my basement and a dehumidifier. Leonard offered some options, without pressure, and I chose the best for my situation and budget.

Excellent service and best product on the market. Ryan the installer arrived as scheduled, was courteous, answered all my concerns and listened to all my input, completed the installation on time and left the site cleaner than he found it. Everyone at DryZone was courteous and professional from sales to scheduling. The scheduling process leading up to the installation was more than excellent - they clearly value your time and their time.

Excellent from beginning to end. This is the 2nd time we used DryZone because we previously had them install a sump pump in a prior home. It was a timely process from beginning to end, but the actual installation only took a few hours. Very impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of the all the staff.

It went very well, I was impressed with the team's attention to detail, their carpentry skills, their professionalism, their willingness to adapt to changes, and their commitment to customer satisfaction. This was a complicated project and there were more than a few changes along the way but Dryzone did a great job managing the project. Each time there was an important structural or design decision to be made I was presented with all my options, had all my questions answered clearly, and was reassured no matter what I decided. They kept the job site very clean and organized clearly take pride in their work. The products they use, which do not contain organic materials and will not mold or mildew, are definitely worth the extra cost for a basement in New England. I've had two basements flood in past homes that were finished traditionally and it was a nightmare to get them cleaned up and restored. I rest easy at night knowing if I have another basement flood that my finished space will not be ruined. The final product went beyond my expectations and everyone who sees it, especially those who saw the "before" are blown away by how nice it looks. I'm confident when I say that you will not find a better product or better people to install it.
Description of Work: I wanted to take our completely unfinished basement and turn it into finished living space, about 800sqft. This was a major project in a 107 year old house with no shortage of obstacles so I had several basement contractors quote the job.

The owner of Dry Zone, Todd Lutinski, came to inspect our basement after I found them on The List and made an appointment. After viewing my basement and discussing what I hoped to accomplish, Todd made suggestions and talked through their various products & services. He answered all my questions and shortly thereafter provided an estimate. After getting estimates from two other companies, I decided to go with Dry Zone based on the price and the confidence I had in Todd to do exactly what I wanted. Dry Zone was able to put us on their schedule pretty quickly. The job took four days. The first day was spent removing the insulation and taking up the wood and partially concreted floor. The second day they leveled the sloped floor, installed a window, and spray foamed the exposed walls. The third day they painted the spray foam with fire retardant paint and built the framing for the new concrete floor. Our floor was so sloped that even with leveling part of it, we still need four separate levels. The final day they spread the concrete. Todd was there every day working with his team. They were all polite, efficient, and clean. Every night our driveway and basement were cleaned up before they left. I do have two complaints which is why I did not give them all A's. First I told Todd I didn't want my family to sleep in the house after spray foaming and that we could stay somewhere else as long he told me which day so we could make arrangements. He called me the morning of the spray foaming to tell me the were on their way. I was annoyed because I had explicitly told him I needed advanced warning to make arrangements. He then gave me attitude about it and accused me of controlling when he could do stuff. My second issue was the window that was installed. I don't know if its just a cheap window or also poorly installed but the pieces are crooked and don't fit well. Despite these two hick-ups, I do like how it turned out and would recommend Dry Zone to others.

The installers contacted us when they were on their way. They did an excellent job installing the floor tiles. They were neat and clean. Everything that was to be thrown away was. The installers were extremely nice and efficient.
Description of Work: We needed to replace our basement rug with a new floor. Because it was the basement we wanted to make sure if we ever did get any water that it would not be ruined. We found Dry Zone Basements on line. We were hesitant at first but after visiting their showroom and seeing the products we new it was a good decision. The sales person was extremely knowledgeable about the flooring and answered the ton of questions we had. Very pleased with the entire project

These guys just left my house and, I have to say, they were just great! They finished the job in 1.5 days (was supposed to be ~2 days) and were very respectful and diligent throughout the entire project. They showed up on time, executed our basement project quickly and efficiently, answered all of my questions, cleaned up nicely, and went above and beyond! They moved some of the heavier items in my basement with no complaints which I really appreciated. Starting with my first meeting with Steve Brennan, they took the time to educate me on my wet basement and what they recommended, what it would take to get it done, and they were able to do this all within a matter of 2-3 weeks. I couldn't be more pleased with how everything looks. The concrete still needs to dry and we need a good storm for us to actually test the system they installed but so far, I am very happy with my choice to go with DryZone Basement Systems. I highly recommend them to anyone and would certainly use them again if needed.

We have an old house (1926) and the main beam had some structural issues. The SmartJacks were installed to help the main beam in 2 areas. It was about 3-4 hour project and all went well. The owner of the company came out for this job and took the time to explain what the jacks were doing and what to look for. I would highly recommend for any basement issues, most of structural issues. If you want to see pictures of the SmartJacks installed, feel free to ping me.

The install was pretty easy, but we got some great advice from the installer. The dehumidifier itself is top of the line. I read many reviews on line before ordering thru DryZone. This one is set at 55% humidity and will shut off once it gets to that setting. Unlike store bought ones that will run all the time. Had it for one day...and all ready can feel a difference in the basement. Only negative is the price but you are paying for a better quality dehumidifier than the one you buy at Lowes.

Very positive experience from start to finish. Called late in the day for initial contact and received a call back from the office the next day. They scheduled an on-site review and told me I would receive some material in the mail and be contacted by the person who would do the review. I received extensive material in the mail that was very informative and professionally done. I was contacted by Steve about a week before the visit. The office called a couple days before the appointment as a reminder. Steve showed up right on time and spent at least an hour going over the issue in my basement, answering questions and reviewing some material he had on his computer. I had already met with 3 other basement companies and Dry Zone was the last appointment. Steve did an excellent job going over their product, service and process. He committed to getting me quotes for the various options we discussed by the next day. I received them right on time. I liked their drain system and Triple safe sump pump system and their price was very competative compared to the other companies I reviewed. I decided to go with Dry Zone and notified Steve. He said he would notify the office and someone would contact me in the next day or so to schedule the work. I did have to contact Steve after a couple days because I hadn't heard from the scheduling area. Steve said he would reach out to the scheduling team and I heard from them the next day and scheduled my work. Prior to the scheduled work day I reached out to Steve to see if he could stop by to discuss sump pump location. He agreed to come out the following day and we talked through installation details. I received a reminder from the office a couple days before the work date. On work day Ryan and Sam showed up on time and were both very respectful and professional. We discussed a couple installation details and then they got right to work. Getting the hole dug for the sump pump was hard work and slow going, but they kept plugging. I was very surprised how clean my basement was considering they had to drill through the floor and dig a pretty deep hole. They did a great job cleaning up after a very messy job. They were just about done, but when Ryan inspected the outside drain pipe he didn't like something about how it came out and had Sam bring the tools back off the truck and redid some of that work until it was what he considered to be right. They did an excellent job covering the drain pipe trench, you could barely tell there was a trench. I found this company to be very professional from start to finish and would absolutely use them again.

This was an all day job. We had two Crawl Spaces that were filled with 'junk' from the previous owner, they cleaned it all out, leveled out the soil and Encapsulated them both. After completing the crawl spaces, they removed the old sump from the house's previous owner (found out it was installed with a laundry basket, lucky us). They installed their TripleSafe with the battery backup and we love it. After the last few rain storms, we realized it was the best money spent. So far, no water in our basement. Jay,our sales rep, had extensive knowledge in basement water issues and I felt no pressure to buy when he came over. The install team was great and did not leave until everything was perfect. They were all on time and the project was on budget as promised. Everyone from the sales rep, install team, and the office team on the phone is exteremly professional and never thought I was been taken advance of and pushed to buy things I did not need. I highly recommend this company.

We moved in a year ago and there was a crack in the basement wall that had been patched up- but they patched it with concrete and it leaked a couple of times- once fairly bad, so we called Dry Zone. They showed up promptly and explained how the Dry Zone system worked. The stuff is guaranteed for life. We made an appt, a guy shows up 2 weeks later- on time- and does the job in a couple of hours. It came out just the way they said it would. Pretty simple. It's more money than filling a crack with filler... but this actually works. They don't just put a band-aid on the crack that will leak later- they stop the thing from ever leaking again- guaranteed.

We were very pleased with the process from start to finish. After touring the basement and listening to our water drainage problems as we described them, Patrick Cahill recommended and solution, described the process and provided a cost quote for an internal draining system and triple-protection sump pump w/battery backup. The work began on June 10, 2014, with the 3-man crew arriving within the stated timeframe. They laid down protective plastic on our hardwood floors upstairs and all the carpeting down the stairs and into the basement. They also installed hanging sheets of plastic to help mitigate the dust that would be created by the jackhammering the cement floor and sawing through the drywall. Once that prep was done, and the carpet and pad had been pulled back, the actual work began. The crew was extremely conscientious and courteous, and the drain and sump pump were installed by late afternoon. The second day, a 2-man crew arrived to install the replacement to the lower half of the wall that was removed to install the drain, and to hook up the sump pump and test it to make sure it worked. The wall looks great, complete with chair rail. The testing of the pump was successful, and the crew left around 3PM after cleaning up. I would definitely recommend using Dryzone Basement Systems to anyone with basement water or moisture problems.

The technician arrived in the time frame given and was very polite and professional. He took about an hour working on the system and came up and said that he had a problem getting the dehumidifier to restart correctly unless he hit it with a hammer. I had a choice -either accept that it's now OK or buy a new part for $75.00. I picked the new part. However, he was working on it for another half hour and said that it still wasn't working OK. He needed to take it into the shop and it would be at least another $100-, depending on what was wrong. A few weeks later, I received a call to set up a reinstall date. The technician arrived on time, installed the dehumidifier quickly and said that there was no charge. He didn't know why there was no charge, maybe the repair was small.

They are reasonable priced. We really like the sales guy. He was fine and he was very knowledgeable. I wasn't there when they installed it but my wife was and she was impressed with how professional they were. They were on time and they did what they said they were going to do. I think they even had a couple of good ideas along the way. It didn't really cost anything extra. They made us aware of some things rather than just doing what the sales guy had laid out. It was really good service. The only thing I was disappointed about is if we had another flood so I haven't been able to see if this thing works but I'm sure it will. We took one look at it. I think we were expecting to spend almost double. We took a look at it and decided we will go ahead. We looked at one other quote and they were slightly more expensive but they didn't seem as professional. I probably could have looked around some more but we felt pretty comfortable with them.
