Decor Rx Interior Designer

I found Madeleine Bickert of Decor Rx just when I was so stressed I did not know how I was going to continue to work on the renovation of my kitchen and two bathrooms. I was overwhelmed. I needed to choose granite, a backsplash, flooring, lighting, bathroom tile, hardware, tiling for fireplace wall and more. Madeleine was wonderful. She quickly understood my style and directed me to products that exactly fit my taste. She brought me to granite showrooms and found me a wonderful fabricator. We found two granite slabs that my husband and I love. Madeleine and I went to tiling stores and she tirelessly went through all the backsplash tiles and floor tiles, and I wound up choosing the ones that go beautifully with my new rooms. We picked out cabinet hardware. We looked at floor tiling and hardwood flooring. When I was looking online for pendant lighting and I sent her a link, if she thought the light was not the best choice for my room, she explained why and made suggestions as to what would be attractive for the room. She was delightful to be with. While I often felt overwhelmed, she always was a calming influence on me and I always looked forward to meeting with her. She was professional and always on time, I still text, call and email her when I need her expert advice. I will continue to work with Madeleine after the renovation is complete and I need to choose furniture and accessories.
