I had worked with Colson's in the past and had a good experience but when I took them on this past spring to take care of my lawn and maintain the garden beds for the summer season at our vacation rental property I was very disappointed. I live 250 miles away and depend on reliable honest service. When I returned in September there were large weeds in the beds that had been left to grow all season. Ground cover plants that I was trying to encourage had been pulled up. Obviously whoever was doing the garden maintenance doesn't know the difference between a weed and a perennial. Plus I was over charged for mowing and when I tried to get this resolved I got nowhere. After many attempts to get a response all I got was additional bills with interest on the portion I over paid. I then paid the bill in full assuming that a reputable company would do the right thing and credit me the portion that was over paid. I was wrong. To top it off there were 3 mowings billed to me in November, the last mowing done on November 18. Who mows in November? They are a big company and obviously don't care about much except for gouging customers.

They are very efficient, hard working, tidy, and a pleasure to work with. They also have very comparable prices. Additionally, they are very knowledgeable, and even saved our Beach Plums! I have always been very satisfied with results, and would absolutely recommend this company to anyone.
Description of Work: They came out and removed 5-6 large black oak trees.
